Letterman: This has more features than the last one I had. I also had the same brand Acu Rite Very good to have all the features this one has really enjoy the rain gage which tells of the present rain the past month and year. all the other readings also give the past or average of the past hours Very good. Good Brand. Came quickly and in good condition. easy set up.

GML: This is our second unit of the same brand and model (the first unit lasted about 4 years but the monitor eventually froze out, may have dropped it too many times). We actually used the existing sensor assembly with the new monitor, and ended up buying a second monitor only so we had 2 complete weather stations. Easy to read, bright. The one change is no battery backup so you lose your data if the unit is unplugged. We really like this unit, we purchased the battery extension (so you don't have to climb up to the sensor to change batteries) and the lightening detector as well.

PamelaPamela: Bought one, loved it until the display froze. Customer service told me it was out of warranty, Stupid me I bought a replacement, plus one for the cottage. Warranty is up, number 2 now reads backward ! Warranty on number 3 is up soon, expecting another death chip surprise!

I am now trying Ecowitt, hoping for no surprises

Kurt G.: Seems accurate compared to local forecasts. Love the wind speed and direction feature. No problem with range. Forecasting is fairly accurate as well. I recommend.

David Barteaux: Love the graphic display...no complaints..works great!
A good friend just purchased a Davis station, but he like this one better..mainly because of the clear easy to read display, half the cost and available parts for the future.
Many people complain about the lack of back up power...and I suppose if you are in an area prone to power shortages , that might be a concern in your purchase, not in my case.
I would certainly recommend this product!
