S. A.: I bought these carpet squares to do some cat hexagons I built for our wall. I wanted the top and inside bottoms to have carpet for the cats to lay on. This carpet worked great, and the self-adhesive backing made installing it a breeze. The carpet is tight enough I was actually able to cut these to size using a paper shear for nice clean cuts. Would definitely buy these again if needed.

AL: Easy to use, sticks very well, simple to apply, easy to cut to fit with utility scissors. Once applied properly these can be vacuumed. I use a roller broom as the suction from the vacuum rolled up a corner that wasn't cut perfectly square. A little carpet tack adhesive fixed that just fine. The difference in the room is like night and day. Went from ugly cold echo creating tile to a beautiful carpeted space in a few hours. You can take your time it doesn't have to be done all at once. The colour is a smoke gray and very pleasant to the eyes, compliments the decor and softens the room, the noise, and keeps it warmer than tile and won't slip like a rug could. It would be very good to use for noise reduction in rooms used for gaming or music or sewing machine noises are. I'm considering other spaces I could use these... they are great

Kingsizerob: Easy peasy to install! Look good and so far are holding up to everything we throw at them. They are easy to cut as well for those odd corners etc. Will be purchasing more to finish a hallway in the upper of our house.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I installed in two different rooms and the adhesive was completely different in both orders. One the backing was falling off and the adhesive wasn't as strong and the other the adhesive seemed great but was hard to even tear off the backing but I'd prefer better adhesion.

It says to install on subfloor, unfortunately mine is plywood and the adhesion wasn't that great. In the second room I painted with Killz primer and it went much better.

I installed following horizontal lines and you can see some variations in the carpet tile but I desperately needed a fast solution to pull out some old and stained carpet in the house I recently purchased.

In a cabin this will do well until I decide to install laminate or thicker carpet. It would be good for basements, rec rooms but I'd go with something thicker for a living room.

For the price it can't be beat. You do need to get into the flow of installing to get it to look seamless. And follow the directions and look up YouTube videos on finding the centre of the room with a chalk line. It was a bit confusing to me but I eventually figured it out. Andy L.: If you're expecting some cheap tiles to carpet something light, then these are excellent, my hallway is very small, and i bought several of these tiles and it wasn't anything other than perfect, super easy to lay down, easy to cut with a Stanley knife.
