Michael B Gieniec: I keep these in trunk so I can track pressure. Good item

Ronnie: Had this in the angle head nozzle and thought I would give this one a try being my old one went bad after 10+ years, it had a bad check valve would not hold pressure at all. Leaked at the press in button. Well this straight one is a little harder to fine center point at the stem valve of the tire and must be perfectly "straight" going in (pressing) and it was at least a good 1+LB off,(low), It is good to have maybe as a stand by like an emergency for my use. I have 2 in the angle head now, that read very good and accurate. and easier to read and use.

oloung1oloung1: i purchased this as a back up to my accu-gage "4x4" gauge since it's a bit easier to have at least 2 tire gauges in the house. this is my 2nd accu-gage 60. my first one stopped holding pressure and i replaced it with my accu-gage 4x4 - purchased on october 2012, is still reading and working fine

this reads the same exact measurements as my accu-gage 4x4 but at half the price, there seems to be some internal differences. my new accu-gage 60 will not hold pressure for more than 1 minute. see attached pic.

pros:
+ affordable compared to other "bourdon tube" dials
+ compact size
+ easy to read dial face, i feel the white face is the easiest to read even at night with a light source
+ more "accurate" than your typical $1.99 pencil gauges

con:
- doesn't like to hold pressure after reading, starts venting after about 60 seconds
- doesn't come with rubber surround to protect against drops or bumps
- crystal face is made of cheap plastic - easily scratched with high glare reflection in the sun
- since lifetime warranty shipping is at least $3.00, not sure if it would be worth the cost.
- my first accu-gauge 60 took years to develop a slow...

Chris - CT USAChris - CT USA: This gauge is super easy to read and I can set precise pressure to all four tires.

I bought two of them between 5-10 years ago and kept one in a drawer in case the other one broke. Recently, I noticed on the one I have been using that when I press the bleed button to reset it, the needle stops between 5-10psi according to the gauge, not down against the rest stop you can see clearly in the picture here.

So I started using the other one, which is how I noticed the needle rest stop issue with the first one. The needle on the new gauge rests against the stop when I reset it. So I set all our tires as I have been setting them in the past, about 32PSI. But now the tires in both cars feel like basketballs. Their door stickers both specify 30PSI front and rear, tires are stock size and I never go by the max pressure on the tires.

So is the gauge with the needle stopping all the way down the more accurate, and is 30PSI really 30PSI on it?

Slasher: I bought 3 of these and the all Mark within 0.5 PSI from each other. I have yet to test it against my professional Morosso Gauge.
It is very easy to use if your piston is facing directly at you, which is on most wheels. I have no air leakage problem with any of them. For all of the above I would have given it a 5 star.
But it feels flimsy. The clear plastic on the front is not very strong and the whole thing doesn't have the finish of a high precision device. For that I would give it a 3 star.
But because it is cheap and you can get the boot for it, making it much stronger, I gave it 4 stars.
FYI: it has a 2" dial face in diameter and 1" deep.

I would buy again and I would recommend, but don't expect me to go racing with these.

PS: Get it with the gauge boot!
