mj Davis: Though I love reading & love the time travelling series, for some odd reason I found this particular couple not as interesting as the previous ones, although why I cannot rightfully say!? Anyhow I look forward to reading a different & more dynamic couple while they time travel!

Amazon Customer: What did I like about this book: The fact that Colin was ignoring what everyone else saw was qiute comical and realistic for me. He had to separate personal and business, and then try to take himself out of the equation completly. As much as you want to be able to do that, sometimes it is impossible. Especially if the person is your soulmate, or kindred spirit in my case. I saw how things can be. I saw how people are able to read others like Reg did, and knew he was not the one she loved. Though she wanted to learn to love him, and knew he was a good man,it would not have been possible. They both deserve more and better than that. It was almost the only way that Emma could learn and understand what Colin's life was like, she had to live it. She was not the type to have it explained and expect her to accept it. She had to be shown.

Gillian Hale: Haven’t written a review on the earlier books as so enthralled needed to get onto the next one as quickly as possible. Trying to stall reading the last one in this series as don’t want them to end. . Great read I was definitely there in the medieval times with all the characters. Sooo enjoyable.

Maine Ah: And no, I’m not a “romance” reader (too many repetitious soft porn scenes to skim over which you will NOT find in these books), or a friend of the author (regretfully), or a reviewer who got a free book...well wait, maybe I DID sort of get a free book because I got this on Kindle Unlimited when the first of this series came as a suggestion. Anyway, I Love this series and am binging it during this pandemic.

Other people will summarize the book so I’m not going to. Instead, what makes this series meaningful to me is the feeling of reality the characters create through their dialogue. We all know or have dated a man who won’t commit, extroverts intermingle with introverts all the time sometimes not getting each other and other times complimenting each other. Many of us know the girl who at first glance seems mousy and before you know it she is developing into an amazing woman who demands to be taken seriously. The characters and situations feel very real which in reviewer speak means it’s a well written book.

I love the way the author plunks Gwen and Ellie into the late 15th century, I got some good laughs with how they thought they were on a movie set. The...

L: ...but this series has a bit more depth than many others. :-)
I've really enjoyed all 3 books so far but I do think each ends way too suddenly. The characters appear in the other books of course...but each time I've had to double check as it feels like it's halfway through a scene! I am very much looking forward to the rest of the series to see the characters, relationships & overriding story continue though as I can see there are loads of storylines to be told. :-)
