The Zakarian family invites you to their table with 85 delicious recipes in their new cookbook, The Family That Cooks Together. This book has been praised for its high-quality printing, easy-to-read instructions, and a wide variety of recipes that are sure to please. Enjoy a delicious breakfast with your family and friends with the help of this book, and experience overall satisfaction with every meal!Setter mom: Easy recipes. Like any other book, can always find a couple of good recipes. Enjoyed the squash apple soup and the presentation of the country style salad. Nice pictures and have seen some other recipes I will try. Easy and doable which is nice. If you are looking for complex dishes, not a gourmet cookbook. Nice recipes for company and family. Suits my kind of cooking. Is good for kids over 10 who like to cook but also for adults want good food and not spend hours in the kitchen.

Kate M.: This is such a wonderful family cookbook! The dishes are surprisingly sophisticated, yet broken down into easy-to-follow steps that are super approachable and leave you feeling accomplished. Really nice range of recipes too - classics like meatballs with garlic bread, chicken noodle soup, and lemon pancakes along with more unusual fare like ratatouille, steamed halibut with coconut rice, and magic chocolate mousse (made with avocados and banana!). It’s so sweet to see GZ’s girls taking up his love of cooking. Perfect gift for a foodie teen or parent looking to get their family more involved with cooking. Definitely buying a copy for my teenage cousin for the holidays!

KellyGKellyG: There are some interesting recipes I’m excited to try with my kids. (They are fans of GZ on the Kitchen as am I.) The sides and desserts seemed the most interesting to me to start with. We made the strawberry soufflés, and we liked the top part with the strawberries. The rest was kind of plain. What I didn’t love about the book is that the authors are his kids, but the language and narrative could only be done by a professional writer, so that part seemed a little cheesy (along with family pictures that came across a bit hoity toity). I would recommend the cookbook. There are definitely some good recipes to try that don’t seem overly complicated and you can try with kids.

bradford weinbergbradford weinberg: Purchased for my tween daughter who loves to cook but is ready to take it up a notch - and no better lead to follow than Geoffrey Zakarian’s beautiful daughters Madeline & Anna who give us tons of healthy and delicious new family recipes to try! Recipes are super easy but have way more sophistication than other children’s cookbooks I’ve purchased in the past. My daughter is cooking her way through it but so far every recipe has been a winner! Perfect holiday gift for the foodie teens in your life.

Wisco: Recipes are great but this book has very flimsy binding that causes pages to fall out.
