Amy Muy: I am currently doing the whole 30 program but all I can think about it doughnuts. I have been wanting to master doughnuts for a long time and took s chance on this book I do not regret it. Although I have not yet been able to try any recipes I have.read them all and feel confident that that I will be able to follow the directions, there are also no weird ingredients to track down. The first one I am going to try is the Boston cream pie with warm blue berry compote. Can't wait. Only 2 days left!

Marni: These recipes are easy to understand and they use common ingredients. Everything is described clearly, no guesswork. When I first started to read this book I thought "I can do this!" and when I looked at the ingredients I was so happy because I had everything at home already. No shopping trrip required! I love that all the secrets and tips are there for you. I have a lot of respect for professionals that share all their secrets, so I'm not wasting time and ingredients. I am very thrilled with this book. Thank you for putting together such a gem of a book. Love the recipes, the stories and the way it's written. So worth it!

ChefCat: I love my donut pan (an awesome Amazon purchase) and am constantly on the lookout for new recipes. The subtitle mentions says specifically it has donut recipes to "fry or BAKE at home." So I thought this would be perfect, a compendium of several recipes in one place. It was therefore disappointing when I discovered only a couple of baked donut recipes.
In this day and age, recipes have progressed more and more toward cutting calories. Whereas it's true that fried donuts are absolutely delicious, the calorie count is off the charts. Baked donuts have become increasingly popular for a healthier treat, with specialty pans dedicated to that purpose. That makes it all the more surprising that there are so few baked donut recipes in this book. Not to mention that pesky, misleading subtitle...
Additionally, there are only volume measures, no weight measures given. The only foolproof, accurate way to be ensured of consistent results in baked goods time after time is to weigh the ingredients.
