I used a repurposed piece of 2 inch thick bowling alley lag bolted into 4x4s underneath ...

iamattiamatt: Was searching through my amazon purchase history and I payed 75 dollars + free shipping for this 10 years ago. I've been beating on it and it has held up well. I did bend the handle whacking on it with a sledge which is my fault. The baked on enamel has chipped and flaked away but I am very hard on it. It's a beast and have it attached to a 3/4 inch mild steel plate table.
Here's what it looks like in 10 years, a flood and a shop fire.
