Debby S: This book is so useful if you want to lose weight. It's about mindset and not a diet book. You just need to shift your thinking to lose weight. I read it twice from my library and once on audio. Then decided I needed to own my own copy. I already lost over 60 lbs by making these changes.

DeAnna Malinsky: As someone who is diagnosed with PTSD and has (in my DNA) a propensity for diabetes, heart disease, asthma, hypothyroidism, and autoimmune disorders; this book has given me insight and hope. I have struggled with every problem that is highlighted in the book and I'm thankful to have the help and tools for combating those mindsets.

While reading this book, I made the decision to make serious changes in my eating habits to take back control of my health, and have since lost weight. My next focus will be, becoming more physically active. I'm excited about what the future holds and I'm grateful for having this book and the workbook in hand to continue to help me continue in this journey.

nhr: Great book with great information - all supporting WW (formerly Weight Watchers) "journey". Such great, encouraging ideas. Definitely encouraging and setting out all the skills needed for lifelong shift in how to view eating and being. It's an easy read that I am sure I will be revisiting many times.

Glenn Mazur, QFD Institute: Dr. Foster consolidates the WW "secrets" to achieving a healthy mindset. The text backs up the guidelines by citing the underlying research bolstered with real life stories that resonated with me. This book is more than a one-time read but an ongoing reference for repeated forays as life unfolds. I got the Kindle edition so I could read on my stationary bike over the past week.

I hope there will be a follow up book on the "why" of wellness. My WW success has expanded as I come to understand why I make the choices in food, activity, and relationships that lead to success or temporarily sidetrack me. Childhood memories (both actual and imagined), illusionary interpretations of relationships I was afraid to verify, and the role food has played in mind-numbing them are my key to lasting growth as a person.

This book helped to analyze in reverse immediate steps on how to get well, what these steps will achieve, and why that is important to me. Thank you Dr. Foster.
