Andrew Stagg: The actual wire wheel is great. But one thing worth mentioning, is that a thin wrench (24mm fit the best) is required to tighten this wheel onto your grinder. My grinder did not come with a thin spanner (only a two post wrench), so I was unable to properly tighten the wheel on the arbor until I got the right tool.

Will: I was using this item to artificially weather some pine shelves (not sure how common of a project this is), but after 2 pieces (approx. 16 sqft.), all of the wires had detached. If this is similar to what you are doing, be ready to get 2 or 3 of these parts. Otherwise a good product. I like the width especially. In the meantime I will be testing some other brands to see whether any can hold up to my particular task

ChevelleGuy: Initial impressions are good. It is worth saying that cut off wheels, flap discs, wire wheels are considered "consumable items" meaning they do not last forever.
The best way to use a wire wheel is to let the wheel do the work and not force it. It will last much longer if you are mindful of that.
It fits my dewalt grinder and my Milwaukee grinder as well. If this turns out to be a good quality, will buy again.
