phillip taylor: I have never had an issue with a Dewalt product and this is no different. I haven't used it enough to wear it out, so time will tell. I know it hasn't lost any strands yet like the cheap ones will.

Maggy Halliday: Was suppose to get "an attachment" for weed eater, to trim built up grass on edges of sidewalk etc.
Was sent an attachment for a grinder. NOT A WEED EATER... not impressed, it was suppose to be a gift, and I got laughed at!
It is a 4" carbon wire disc for a grinder... weekenders do not have a 5/8" attachment for this thing, I spent a LOT of money for this, just to get laughed at!
(Did they ask you the make n model of your trimmer? Did they ask you ANY QUESTIONS about what type of device you own?!)

David Hicks: Have some old equipment I'm restoring and it's got heavy rust build up. After trying by hand with wire brushes in vain I bought this for a grinder. It made easy work of the job although it doesn't get into corners very well due to the diameter of the wire twists.
After using it for ~1hr to remove rust and old paint it's still in good shape - ends are slightly bent but it's got a lot more life in it.
