brandi brister: Bought this as a gift for my Mother who has a number of things in her yard to attract birds and she loves it. Color is attractive and it was easy to assemble. She lives in the deep South so it is kept in the shade of a tree so the water doesn't get too hot. There are many birds and some squirrels that are in or drinking from the fountain all day long. Great gift for a bird lover!

Kathryn: I bought this for my sister’s birthday, but I knew to get it because I have owned the same model for over a year. I live in a cold state, so I put it away for the winter. I like it because it’s easy to clean, there’s no hidden crevices where you can’t easily get a brush to clean. Mine has discolored a little bit from age and it’s easy to fill it too high because it does have a deeper basin. It would be a good birdbath to use a heater in winter because of the deeper basin - easy to keep heater covered with water.

Sharon Rutledge: I bought the Stone one and just love it. I “planted” red artificial pansies (bought on Amazon) around it and it looks amazing. I filled the hollow chamber with sand and didn’t use the stakes it came with. This birdbath withstood the hail storm of the century where I live in Austin, Texas. Didn’t break or crack or blow over. I highly recommend it and easy to put together. I did it with no problems and I’m 73 years old.

Nick: I purchased 1 of these and after set up, I purchased 2 more as gifts. They are easy to set up. I have mine set in a garden so I used tent stakes between the design on the bottom to stabilize it. If you are setting on something solid and level, filling with sand will work. If you are setting on lawn or garden I recommend using stakes to hold it down. It is very light when the water evaporates and the wind can tip it over.
For those experiencing issues with breaking or flaking in the bowl, I think its due to tightening too tight when putting together. I have not experienced these issues and the people I purchased these for have not either. I recommend storing these during winter if you live in a cold climate. This was definitely worth the price and I like these much better than stone baths.

David: Bought this for my wife and she loves it. The little holes around the outer rim are great for small birds like finches. Sturdy? Yes! Withstood that May 21st derecho that hit almost all of Ontario. Power lines were down, but this sturdy bird bath was unfazed. Oh, and assembly was simple.

P. Brock: This was rather surprising. It was much lighter than I expected. But when I opened the box the plastic pieces went together easily and securely. Within a day or two I saw the birds using the bath. The color looked a little funny, but it seemed like it had been there all along in the garden. I recommend this if you are looking for an inexpensive bird bath.
