Thanh Tan Nguyen: i trying many step programming it add new remote ONLY old original remote recognize it but this 2 remotes will not recognized in the system

i using Honda HDS software & manual add new remote manually still same problem never recognized work for this hoonda ridgline 2006 modle
TO DO THIS PROCEDURE

1. Turn ignition to ON
2. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button (with the transmitter pointed at the instrument panel)
3. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn ignition switch to OFF
4. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn ignition switch to ON
5. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button (with the transmitter pointed at the instrument panel)
6. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn ignition switch to OFF
7. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn ignition switch to ON
8. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button (with the transmitter pointed at the instrument panel)

leo: Can't speak about the durability as I just received it but at $ 20 ill say its definitely worth the money. It feels sturdy, at least as sturdy as the oem one. Took it to a key shop to get cut and programmed for $75 as opposed to the 150 for programming at the dealer. Took the programming first time no issues. Will buy from this company again for other key replacements.

Ladie L.: Lock smith had not issue getting the keys programed into our 2006 Ridgeline. They work like the original key we lost!
I understand from the locksmith most of this type of key can be programed to match the computer chip unless you have a Subaru. The Subaru company does not allow access to their computer to reprogram the key so the entire unit has to be sent back to the Subaru company, Otherwise, you just need to purchase the key blank for your year wehicle and let the locksmith or the dealer do the programing on the new keys.
