Samuel H.: be advised, this is a REPLACEMENT key fob. Keyless entry was an option for these cars, and if your car did not come with the option for keyless entry, it will not work. the car must have the keyless entry remote receiver module installed.

Brady: I had a bit of a headache when first programming this. I was doing the sequence at a high rate of speed like the crv was a 2023 lol but when i slowed down the sequence it matched right away .

Carl HooperCarl Hooper: Had to watch the video as the online instructions are in accurate. Here are the correct steps.
1 get in the vehicle and unlock it with the drivers power lock
2 have all your remotes new and old with you and insert the key.
3 Turn the key as far as it will go without starting the car.
4 within 4 seconds press the lock button.
5 turn the car off
6 repeat steps 3-5 two more times.
7 turn the car to the almost start position one more time. Press the lock button. The car should lock itself. 8 Press the lock button once more to store the program.
9 Turn the key to off.
10 Take your keys and remotes outside and verify everything works.

Warren: Total waste of money. Took forever to program it, and once I got it programmed, it basically doesn't work. You have to press the button to unlock it or lock it about a dozen times or more from inches away before it works. Tested the battery, it's fine, the buttons basically just don't work at all. It's so useless, it's quicker to not use it.
