lovelogiclovelogic: I received the winder in perfect condition and function.
I found the assorted foam inserts to not really fit my ~2008 Submariner nor my 2020 Sea Dweller.
The Submariner does fit 90% w/ one of the foam inserts, but you either have to clamp the bracelet around the foam which feels like it puts undue pressure on the clasp mechanism. Or, you have the option of clasping the bracelet and then sliding the watch over the foam, this I am afraid may eventually cause the watch bracelet to stretch. The effect is similar to sliding on and off your shoes instead of tying the laces, except with a several thousand dollar Rolex Submariner.
I have also noticed from time to time the watch may occasionally slip ~0.5cm during the rotation cycles and this always bothers me because I worry that small particulates could scratch the watch (such as a small piece of dirt, or other debris) that is now sawing my watch bracelet 100s of times over and over as the watch spins. Therefore, 0% slippage, in my view is the only acceptable outcome. Because the Submariner is a relatively light watch, I do keep it in there rotating, but I worry about it daily. I find myself hoping that someday I don't find...
