rushmanphotos: this comes in a vacuum sealed package so it is hard like a brick. once you open it, it loosens up. i make my own bread. it has a decent taste. I bought a package of two so I keep in in the freezer so it doesn't die.

john123: I only used this to make bread, so don't know about any other uses. I had not used this brand of yeast in the past, and bought it because it was the only yeast available when i needed it. It was pretty expensive at the time, but is quite a bit less expensive now. It is the only yeast that I will buy in the future.
