Katie: So sad 🥲 the yeast was dead on arrival. I immediately tried to make a loaf and I could not for the life of me get the yeast to activate. No rising of the dough, no activation with warm water and sugar, just would not show a single sign of life. So disappointed as I was waiting to make this loaf once the yeast arrived. No bread for me 😭

I know this isn’t the seller’s fault but so bummed since it’s dead and I can’t do refunds on it.

Island TwinsIsland Twins: We love this yeast! We trust Fleischmann's yeast and love their bread cookbooks. We're avid bread bakers, and their yeast is always consistently high quality. We buy large quantities of yeast and store it in the freezer for freshness. We use the yeast straight out of the freezer, and it has always worked perfectly for us. We've noticed that instant yeast does cause our breads to proof faster, so we keep a close eye on the rising process instead of going by rising time alone. Happy baking!!
