Used 3 of these to secure hobbie cat to the dock. The clips work great to quickly secure/release the boat to the dock. Not sure if they have longer ones but that would be great.

I gave this 4 stars for two reasons. 1) We have some other lines that are nearly identical but different colors that have floaters on them so they don't sink, We lost one to the lake. 2) the rope is a little on the cheaper side (the hook seems great quality) so its uses are limited in that way.
Aside from that, this is a great affordable option. We use it for tie out our floating mat from the boat. I would not use as a dock line for anything more than a jetski, and would still question it for long term storage for that purpose.
