BlackForest: The rope is used to anchor a 21.5ft boat on the rapidly moving Columbia river. The 150 ft length was surprising compact in the anchor locker with sturdy attachment points. The 3/8 inch is plenty strong enough to hold this boat against current. The material does not hurt or cut your hands when you handle the anchor line. This rope works as advertised and is a great value.
