2.5 lb Approx. Italian Pancetta Beretta

T Bunch: Oh yah! So first it showed up early with ice packs still cold. Second not to fatty not to lean and nice light pepper on the out side of roll. This is the second pancetta beretta 2.5 lb roll I have purchased first one great. I have not eaten any of the second yet but it looks delish and I think some carbonara is first. I break it down to 7 or 8 oz packs and seal a meal them and freeze.

Walt_l: Living in rural Ohio, quality pancetta is hard to come by. Ordering meat online is a bit scary, but I NEEDED pancetta for a recipe. While fedex dropped the ball on delivery, Alma Gourmet took care of me like a champ. Not only did they get me the nicest pancetta ive ever had, they worked with me through the shipping errors without complaint or having to be asked twice. A class product from a class company.

Kindle CustomerKindle Customer: Wow! We've eaten a lot of pancetta in our house, but this is fabulous. When I received it today and cut it up to freeze, I was rather disappointed because one end was mostly fat. I trimmed most of it off, but stuck the fat in the freezer too because it can be used as flavoring in soups anyway. However, we decided to make carbonara tonight. I used the bit of meat on that fatty end. OMG! Was it fantastic. I cooked it to crunchy and it was very flavorful and delicious. My husband loved it. I will recommend it.
