C. Caryl: Many of the recipes state “Makes 4 Servings” “Enough for seconds or leftovers”, neither of which I want as I am usually only cooking for one. Not a huge deal - I know how to convert a recipe - but just seemed a bit misleading with the title clearly stating “Cooking for Two.”
On the plus side, the format is great with a photo for each recipe.

Maa: Lots of recipes! So good my daughter wanted one also. Absolutely the best I've seen for a one or two person home!

Amazon Customer: I was so happy when I received this and saw how thick it was and then when I looked at recipes I got so excited by the simplicity of them and the quantity of them. I can't wait to get started with recipes that are just like the type of food I eat. Nothing fancy and most things I already have in the pantry, nothing extravagant that I have to go buy and only use one time. I highly suggest this book.

FrequentShopper: While I like that every recipe has a colour illustration of the finished dish, this is NOT a cookbook for someone looking to cook for a small household of one or two. 50% or more are for 4 servings and some have 6 servings, which they get around by having a note "This recipe makes enough for seconds or leftovers!" If I wanted a bunch of leftovers I could have ordered any 'regular' slow cooker cookbook. Also note that a lot of the recipes have ingredients like tins of condensed soup--Possibly okay for a novice cook. Not a cookbook I can recommend.

McGoogly: I have bought a small (1.5l) slow cooker for my Mum for Christmas because she just cooks for two and finds that she has too much left over when she uses her larger (3.5l) slow cooker. If she reduces the quantities in recipes there isn't enough to use the large slow cooker properly because they are meant to be about two thirds full. Also, she has problems sometimes when she tries to scale down recipes. So this book appeared to be the answer - especially written, supposedly, for the smaller slow cooker and the cook making food for two people. The problem is that the vast majority of the recipes in the book are still for the larger 3.5l slow cooker. From my perspective it is not fit for the purpose I intended. Also, having read through it, it is very American in terms of the type of food and also in some cases the required ingredients. I can guarantee that my 86 year old Mum won't be interested in cooking Sloppy Joes, Chilli Burgers, Quilters Soup or Souhtwest Breakfast Burritos! But that is personal taste so I don't criticise the book for that but I do feel mislead about the portions.

Robert Goodman: Found very few recipes that I would make. Although cookbook is indicated as recipes for two, many are for 4 or more.
