Nope girl: I own some rental property and not every door is placed right for a usual doorstop or hinge doorstop, so these are the perfect alternative! They also worked great to cover a small hole in a door where a hinge doorstop had damaged the wood. The price and quantity pack is perfect as there's usually more than one door that needs a bumper. They stick great, they're low profile, a silicone-like consistency, so a bump from a door is muted, and the wall or an adjacent door is protected. I've already re-ordered a few times and recommended them to others!

Digicrat: These are easy, effective, and cheap. They do not necessarily look as good or reliable as some of the other variants available, but they are more than adequate (and a fraction of the cost).

I bought this for my front door to replace the traditional spring stopper typically mounted near the floor. In my case, that stopper fell off at some point without my noticing, and as a result my door created a nice little hole in the drywall. This stopper both protects the wall from future damage, and neatly hides the existing damage, without the hassle of repairing the drywall.

Of course, these won't work in all cases/rooms dependent on your layout/decor.

EmilyEmily: I am so glad I purchased these. Came in a pack of 4. Easy to put on the wall, just find where you want to place it, clean the wall, peel the sticker off and slap that bad boy on the wall.

I rent the apartment I live in, so when I noticed hair dryer next to the bathroom sink was leaving marks on the wall, I figured I need to do something.

I liked that these were inexpensive, look nice, and they help prevent damage to the walls. I mean, can’t beat it.

Kirk: I was a little worried when I ordered these that they would not be good quality based on the price, but the reviews were pretty good so I figured I would give them a shot.

I've put up two of the four I received on the wall and based on initial quality these little things are great. Not too big, not too small. Nicely covered up the dent in the sheet rock the door handle had created and so far they are sticking really well to the wall.

I'll update this review if I decide later the longer term quality was not great, but so far I'm really happy with this purchase. I also confirmed you can (within reason) bump these with a door handle and they still look good and quietly wait for the door to hit them again.

M. Joy: I liked the idea of incorporating a bumper to stop door knob dents in the walls. Of course it’s a compromise, since no matter how good it appears - a bumper itself is still a blemish to be noticed if it is residing on a surface.

But it is a far better sight to behold - than that of an obvious “ut-oh” made by a door knob (or its lock button) on a swinging door - contacting and denting the wall finish.

So I tried the clear gel type bumpers first. They were also of a smaller diameter, (which was actually slightly more to my liking - so far as appearance in comparison).

However, the clear gel bumbers failed miserably by soon falling off the walls, (without reason). The walls where they were used were freshly painted - (as part of some remodeling work) but the paint was fully cured before I attached them.

Thinking their gel adhesive was possibly applied (by design) in an insufficient amount, I applied a new button in the same location, applying it firmly and with pressure - so as to fuse its new gel in with the left-over gel that remained on the wall (from the one that fell off).
