T W: Had a ball of foot pain. Not serious. Bought these and able to do a LOT of walking with very little discomfort! Multiple uses! I had to readjust one and it still sticks on my insole (over a week ). Just use a little care putting foot into the shoe. So easy!! Love it!!

Patti Pennington: The pads are great but removing the very strong 3M adhesive band is not quick & easy. I can't do it. My husband has to use a pocket knife to get it off for me & he isn't always available when I need a pad. Is there something we are missing in the back removal?

Rick Shaw: You'd think that a metatarsal pad would be pretty much generic in design, and these are, more or less (the edges are not beveled like others I have used, but the size is the same, and they accomplish the same thing. HOWEVER, the only issue I encountered is that the adhesive is TOO sticky. It's virtually impossible to reposition the pad once the backing has been removed and the sticky side touches the shoe insole. Trying to remove it simply causes a layer of stick fabric to remain in the shoe, so it can't be repositioned once it's stuck down, and it's hard to know if it's in the right position until I walk in the shoe to see how it feels. So, if you buy these, make sure you have them positioned properly the first time. OR, try what I intend on doing for the rest of my shoes, which is to cut a small, dime-sized section of backing with an Exacto knife and only remove the backing in that small spot (in the middle of the pad, ideally). That way, if it needs to be repositioned, it can be lifted out without compromising the entire pad. alexander76: After visiting my Podiatrist he recommended I get some metatarsal pads like the one he used in his office which were 3M. I decided to buy the same brand which the adhesive was incredible stuck around for three days, well when I used the new ones they didn't stick around much longer than a 12 hours guess I'll be using lots of these pads. The comfort is great and the quality also great but not the 3M glue.
