Zorvo Natural Gas, Methane, and Propane Detector

Tara Groth: I bought this for peace of mind, and when it eventually went off- I had to call the fire department to come out and check. it was found to be incorrect. Nothing was detected. They informed me this alarm is not certified, and they are supposed to have stickers that’s indicate what the lights/numbers mean and a “universal security” tag. This has none of that and he said it’s a “Chinese knock off prop alarm” (direct words from the firefighter)
Please do not rely on this to keep you safe.

CubanoLibre: Decided to purchase this propane/gas monitoring unit for our home kitchen after listening to a family member’s concern. Once the unit was received, the installation manual was comprehensive and the unit simple to install. Read all customer’s reviews before purchase and found one YouTube video helpful. I am considering purchasing another unit near the home furnace. Thank you Vendor and Amazon.

imalways: I bought two of these because I am purchasing a house that hasn’t been taken care of and has natural gas lines. I didn’t end up trying to use these until 6 months after purchase. One worked great but the other one had a weird reading. I contacted the seller and he rectified the issue. Pretty awesome! I got a replacement and I’m happy as a clam.

Katieo: A family member had inadvertently turned the gas on accidentally a couple of times, so I ordered this product, and it came quickly and was easy to install next to the stove with a numerical rating that can be checked for how it's doing. It made me feel better to know there is a monitor next to the stove. I also unplugged it and took it downstairs to check our furnace/hot water heater for any leaks as well and will order another one to stay in that location permanently. I'm very pleased with the safety and quality of the product.

madashell: I like it. Has all the basic features that I needed. One drawback for some applications is that it has no lead-in extension cable so needs to be plugged directly into an electrical outlet -- and you might not have an outlet at the desired location. But easily remedied by buying an extension cord here at Amazon.com with your order. Amazon has lots of them.

Also, if you intend to plug it into a fixed electrical outlet, make sure that the outlet's ground pin is located such that the detector will be vertical. If not you can buy a swiveling ( or rotating) plug-in adapter like the following:
"Belkin SurgePlus USB Swivel Surge Protector and Charger (Power strip with 3 AC Outlets, 2 USB Ports 2.1 AMP / 10 Watt) and rotating plug" or maybe something similar. I bought the Belkin unit, worked great for my application.
