Stephen Bridge: Easy to use. We had smelled gas but couldn't figure out where the leak was. It found TWO. When the plumber came to fix the leaks, he said this unit was better than what HE had been using for leak detection.

*How to use unit effectively*
Overall, I am extremely happy with this unit. I feel this unit is fairly priced with the build quality in mind and the "bare-bones" of the unit itself. Bare bones being a good thing with this because its such a great value, and anything else would increase its price a lot and for what you bought this for (to find leaks) it will do that job super effectively. Bryan Manzeck: Very sensitive, goes off on joints that bubble testing shows no leak. Maybe false alarms however I tightened those joints just to make sure.
