garyl: Just installed second roll on remaining roof a year after evaluating results of first roll.
Could use a few more nails for roof exposed to higher winds. Purchase of extra nails is not cheap.

Vernon: Installed this strip on roof to control algae and moss growth on roof. Works good, but takes a few months to kill algae. I sprayed my roof with a 6% bleach solution to kill the algae before I installed the zinc strips. Now when it rains the zinc leaches out of strips and keeps algae from coming back!!! Only had to install on north side of house!!!!

Andre Silvanovich: The north side of our 1 1/2 story house has black mold on the 2nd floor siding and moss on the 1st floor roof shingles. I applied the zinc strips in locations where they will be washed with rain and if all goes well good bye moss and mold. The zinc strips arrived earlier than promised and they were well packaged. Thank you.

BET: I bought this to install on my Shed roof on both sides at the peak. The shed sits under tree cover and is covered with moss. I will install this once the moss killer spray kills the moss and I have cleaned it off. It did come with nails with neoprene washers, but no instructions (at all) on suggested methods to install or how far to place the nails and whether they need to be under the shingles (which I'm assuming), or straight through the shingles with the neoprene washers sealing the nail hole.

Installation wasn't difficult, I think if I did it again I'd screw rather than nail it down. One before photo, two after.
