LorraineLorraine: I bought this after watching a video comparing different water filters, this one performed the best out of all the filters tested and was a great price. I was worried about having a glass pitcher shipped but when I opened it the package was so well protected with styrofoam that it would take a lot to damage it! I love how much water this holds, I never run out. I also love how it looks on the counter and that I can just pull my faucet out to fill it up. A few things that I’ve learned is that if the pitcher isn’t filling up all the way then there are air bubbles trapped in the filter, you just pull the filter up and squeeze it to release the air and then it will fill up to the top again. You need to pay close attention to the direction of the washers that are on either side of the spigot, if either of them are in backwards then water will leak. If the water starts to taste like lemon then you need to change the filter. Overall I really like this pitcher, the water tastes like Dasani water to me, no regrets with this purchase.

santer bruno (studio photo): Je suis très content de la fontaine, seul bémol le plastique pour le réservoir du haut. La filtration est très rapide et j'ai bien un 000 en particule... J'ai revendu ma fontaine British berkefeld qui comme son concurrent sont une arnaque pour les filtres, les test sont alarmants avec 280 en particules. Je vous invites à voir certaines vidéos test qui alertes sur les cartouches Berkeys et autres...La seule solution pour moi c'était cette fontaine que j'utilise aussi pour la cuisine, nettoyage des légumes et eau de cuisson donc 9 l Ce n'est pas de trop.

Amazon Kunde: Super Produkt, bis auf den Ausfüllhahn. Billiger geht’s nicht. In den ersten 2 Wassergläser waren Chromoartikel vom Hahn. Mir war neu, dass Plastik verchromt werden kann.
Ansonsten eine sehr gute Alternative zu teuren elektronischen Geräten.

KerryWTH: Primero compré otros dos dispensadores Zerowater. La jarra tenía fugas y la devolví. El segundo es feo y odio usarlo pero no lo devolví.

Entonces encontré este: ¡ES PERFECTO! Es bonito y grande y me gusta usarlo. Me encanta mirarlo.

Sólo hay un problema: el grifo es de plástico. Un producto tan bonito con un grifo de plástico barato. Veo que puedo comprar buenos grifos de repuesto de acero inoxidable, y lo haré.

Importante: los filtros sólo duran un mes. Limpian el agua al 100% pero hay que comprometerse a comprarlos y cambiarlos a menudo. Vale la pena.

classical1: The biggest plus is that it is much more convenient and less messy to use than any pitcher filter. Water does not spill onto the floor or countertop.

However, the supplied spigot is all plastic and poor quality, as many others have pointed out. The one suggested by amazon on the product page is metal and has worked well for over a year.

It is not convenient to clean and rinse out the jug, since you need a large sink and you have to be very careful because it's glass. Not really complaining since we much prefer a glass jug to a plastic one. You really don't need to clean it that often, wedo it every 9 months or so. No problems with sediment or anything growing in tank.

The spigot is a little low and will make it hard or impossible to fill some tall glasses or cooking pots, because there won't be enough room between the spigot and the counter. We elevated it on top of a boos block 12x12 small butcher block, which itself is on wooden feet, to elevate the jug about 2.5 inches. Then we put a 12 inch or so silicone trivet on top of the block, to keep the jug base from sliding around on the block.

Yes and no.

All of our cities are proud to supply fresh water that meets or exceeds the national cleanliness requirements. But these requirements allow a limited, but unharmful quantity of impurities & chemical as a matter of economics...it is not worth the price to the city water department to increase the filtration.
