Brenda S.: We broke a part in our fridge filter casing and bought this in the meantime. Our Calgary water is too hard and takes too chemically. I was amazed that the Zero water filter changed our 97 % mineral water to 0%. It tastes like bought bottle water. I’m not going to fix our fridge filter casing and just have the 20L sitting on the top ledge of the fridge. It’s easy to fill the ice trays (ice is crystal clear) and I use a jug to fill up the 20L container. Replacement filters are comparably priced at $40 for 2 and I have only had to change my first filter after a few months. Try it for yourself to see how good the water tastes.

sandra myatte: I bought this product about 3 weeks ago. The filter seemed to work fine on the first 4 fills, then the water wouldn't filter through after the first half of the fill. I'm not sure what the problem is but have no way to contact the seller for a replacement filter or troubleshoot the filter.

Ol' Techie: I was a skeptic for years and refused to jump on the water bottle fad, which is now out of control and a detriment to the environment. I drank tap water and know that it's not so bad it's gonna cause me harm. However, over the years I started using various filters and enjoyed the taste of water more, and 90% of what I drink is straight-up water. I decided to give this ZeroWater a try and can 100% declare this filters better than others, and I know this not only from the 0 ppm on the TDS meter, but from the obviously better taste of the water. Having just swapped out our first filter at the 4-month mark, the water started to taste sour and I think the filter was leaching whatever it captured back into the water. Sure enough I tested and it was up to 80ppm, and swapping in another filter cured that and now back to 0 and good tasting water. So for roughly $50/year or less if you get the filters for this dispenser on Black Friday, I figure it's worth the cost for great tasting water, and not contributing crazy bad amounts of plastics to the landfill. For reference our tap water scores 170 ppm and the EPA recommends staying under 500 ppm. So the only real benefit for me using these...

Nicole: I live in an area that has had drought conditions for the last couple of months. Tap water here is usually great, but right now it’s mostly ground water and it’s had a mildewy flavour for the last few months. I’ve been tolerating it by adding drink crystals to it to cover the mildew flavour, but finally had enough. Did some research and ordered this unit as it would fit in my fridge as a stationary dispenser with the push button spout. It came with a TDS meter that measures the particulates in the water. As I was filling it I tested the tap water and it read “124” (manual says to replace the filter at 006). Just tested the filtered water and it read “000” and tastes amazing! No mildewy smell or taste! Fits perfectly in my fridge for cold water on demand. The only thing I noted is that the water takes a long time to go through the filter, which I suppose it’s why it works so great!

I definitely recommend this product. I’m super pleased with my choice!

Sehr J.Sehr J.: I bought the filter a few days ago and for 2 days, the filter was slowly but surely filtering water and it would take 20 mins to fill the water tank. But it's the 3rd day and the filter is working really slowly. It has been around 3 to 4 hour and the water is not going through filter properly. I found out that the slow filter may be due to bubbles in it so I took the filter out and drained the water and then put it back again and filled it with water and it works! I have done this a couple of times now. Not sure if this is normal but atleast it works!

Jack Green: The water tastes good, reading came back 0 on the TDS. The only issue I have is the TDS tester doesn't fit in the slot. It's the wrong shape and size and just pops out with some serious force to try and get it in the holder.

Amazon Customer: Great little water filter and dispenser, but in the directions it says cover while filling. Do not do this, especially if you live in a humid/hot environment. The condensation will cause a seal and the water will not filter through. I cock mine a little to the side to leave breathing room and it has worked great. Hope this helps someone else.

Kara B.: I LOVE this water filter pitcher. It fits perfectly in our fridge, hold a decent amount of water, and it is easy for even my four year old to use. We have well water at my house and we use to buy cases of water every week and since buying this we have not only saved so much money but also reduced our plastic use. I do have a few small complaints though, one the reader does not fit in the little slot on the front (not a huge deal but was a little frustrating), two sometimes when we fill the top and then put the cover on it doesn't continue to flow through the filter (once again not a huge deal we have just learned to keep the cover slightly off kilter until fully drained) and three the filters are a little expensive and only last about two weeks which is frustrating when I forget to order them (still worth it in my opinion but I just want to be as transparent as possible). With all of that being said I would still recommend this product 100% the water is crisp and fresh and even takes our the "well water" taste that we are use to at my house.

True Friend: Update, I cannot review the filtration result as I did not test it, the water has not tasted much different but I have to trust it works. there are bubbles and the water filters super fast. Compare to the Shaklee filters I had, the filtration is slow, and the water tastes much fresh, even sweet after the filtration. the leak is resolved by calling customer service, and by turning the filter upside down it no longer leaks. I wish customer service was a little nicer but she did resolve the issue. so I raised to 4 stars. I will return to use Shaklee.

I got it in on October 29th and did not open it, until two months later, but I found out that it does leak a small amount, and drips in two places no matter how much I try to tighten the filter... the pitcher could have been better quality for something holds water. I would be willing to pay more. I don't know if the leak is caused by the filter or the pitcher, so I won't buy it again. Also, instructions is not very obvious to me, a simple step of explaining how it works and when to change the filter would have been better
