Melissa Keen: So most people probably don't realize these are reversible if you just fold them inside out. They are just ok. They don't always stay in place on your foot and I have had 3 out of 4 have the stitching split apart. They do seem to help me a little, but they are not without issues.

richard grannis: I found these pretty comfortable. I wear size 7.5 shoe in normal width but went with large size hoping to afford coverage in the tailor's bunion area, although I've not been diagnosed with same. The large size is wide enough for that. I don't find the toe separating fabric disturbing and it arrived pretty much as pictured. I've purchased another type of ball cushion to compare. I believe these feel better because of the fabric (hate sockless sensation in shoes) but rather pricy considering you only get one pair; other styles that come in multipacks seem like a better buy but those aren't perfect, either. I've worn these once at work and I do feel a difference but wonder how often these will need to be laundered and how the gel stands up to that. To minimize the number of times I launder these, after wearing I put them back in the ziplocked bag they came in with a dryer sheet to hopefully keep them smelling better with less frequent laundering.
