Roop: My mom has been using this product for years now, and it has never disappointed her. She uses henna on her hair one day and will use this the next day. Her hair looks very natural after using this and washing it, and it last for atleast a month on her. The length it stays definitely depends on the hair type not really a product issue. I've been using henna and indigo for about 7 years now to cover my grays. I am in my 30s and started going gray as a teenager, I love using henna and indigo because they do wonderful things for hair especially the wirey gray ones. Frizz is barely an issue anymore and my hair is sooo soft and shiny.
However it's been a long road with lots of experimenting so here's what I've found-
My hair is naturally fine and dark brown. Nearly ever henna I've used works great to turn lighter hairs copper, but finding a good indigo has been harder. What has been working for me for a few months now is to do henna, then either later that night or the following day, apply indigo on clean hair (so shampoo after rinsing henna. Just water to rinse but once water runs clear, shampoo). Air dry hair, mix indigo with luke"cold" water (avoiding heat with indigo has been a game changer) and apply- I only do my roots- air dry with indigo for 15 or so min, then cover and leave on 2-4 hours. Rinse with COOL WATER! Not warm! No blow drying or shampoo. Then about 5 days later I repeat the indigo process again and that's...
