YISSVIC Electric Fly Swatter - 4000V Bug Zapper Racket with Dual Modes for Mosquito Elimination

I-Test-Everything: PROS:
1. The USB Cable is already embedded into the base, this eliminates the risk of them being separated or it coming loose.
2. it uses a vertical stem to plug into the bug zapper - this eliminates problems of loose on non-connecting contacts
3. Improved indicator lights showing it being Charged and/or Powered Up
4. It uses a solid USB-C connection in the base
5. Looking into the base, I am a hook attachment built into the base, which means that I can choose to have it mounted to the wall.
6. When I unpacked it, I saw that there was a tag I had to remove by pulling out which allowed the rechargeable batter to make contact and start charging for the 1st time

The ONLY minor thing that can be improved, is that the blue light which it uses to attract the bugs only covers a small area at the base, it could be redesigned so that the lights cover a wider area.

I had already owed a double pack of a previous generation bug zapper similar to this one, but this one is the clear winner of the 2 versions. After some usage, the Micro USB connection kept getting loose and then it wasn't keeping the connection to the base. Eventually the connectors wasn't keeping...

VC: I’m allergic to mosquitoes and our neighbors have a pool and it’s cooling down (🏜️🌵) so they are out in force. They don’t just itch, they HURT. And they loooove me like I’m their sugar mama giving them their daily 🩸allowance. I can get 8+ bites in less than five minutes which is a real killjoy. I’m an outside gal and I just want to widdle and fiddle in my garage but they keep garage blocking me.

That being said here’s my review-

-1 star because the light doesn’t really attract them and it does have a short battery life. But it charges fast.

4 stars because if you swing like you’re super duper terrible at badminton to try and actually catch the a-hole and you make contact, ZAP zap ZAP mf!!! 🦟🪦

And if you catch anything bigger it really zaps and won’t stop till you shake the sucker out (pun intended). But for the smaller 💩s you get away with mosquito murder, because there’s no body left to shake out. You can really tell you killed it dead when you start smelling a smell that resembles burnt hair.

Cicely Czyl Gissul Timartha Bauer: Got absolutely fed up with flies that kept spawning in my home so I bought me this and let me tell you. It works very well and the full charge lasts a long time too. You can either have it set to be on constant or only when you push the button. I have not tried the shock on myself and I probably won’t but it does enough to stun the flies and bring them down. Only issue is that this won’t get the real small flies or gnats because the holes between the wires are too big for them. This is much faster than waiting for them to land of fly ribbons.

Kyle T Duffy: This is an electric swatter and it works great doing that. I love being able to turn it "ON" and it stays on without me having to hold a button down. But I also like that I can use the button instead if I don't want it always on. And the recharging is GREAT.

The UV light is a gimmick. Mosquitos aren't attracted to UV. The other bugs it might kill via UV are likely not bad bugs in the first place. It can make for a night nightlight, though. But be warned, bug-zapping noises at 3AM will startle you awake. So, probably not worth it to have on.

I keep this by my bedside for when a mosquito flies by or a fly is being super annoying. No regrets on making the purchase, just don't think the UV light will solve all of you biting bug problems.

Client d'Amazon: Extermination des moustiques-tigres (suite à invasion dans le Sud-Ouest depuis quelques années). Déjà acheté un exemplaire de cet excellent produit il y a un an. Le tamis, qui pourrait être de plus grande surface, permet de "carboniser" les bêtes quand on les approche avec des mouvements lents. En revanche, la lumière violette, censée les attirer, semble totalement inefficace, voire contre-productive. Au total, très satisfait, sauf qu'il serait "fair play" d'annoncer que pour connecter l'appareil sur prise secteur (tel qu'annoncé dans la pub), il faut ajouter un adaptateur (de 10 à 20€), ce qui est fourni ne permettant de se connecter qu'à une prise USB type A. Personnellement, j'ai acheté l'adaptateur LUCENT (permettant connexion secteur + 3 USB-A + 1 USB-C), également disponible sur Amazon (environ 19€)
