3600V High-Powered UV Light Electric Bug Zapper for Indoor and Outdoor Mosquito Control

Will: I would have rated this 5 stars because the first one I ordered was great, but the second one just came and is clearly different. I haven't had time to asses if the differences are hyper impactful, but to purchase from the same unchanged listing and receive items that are clearly different, makes me concerned. Especially since the one I received seems to resemble a zapper being sold for almost half the price in a different listing.

So lets talk differences:
1. The original one had a purple glow and the new one has a blue glow. This is particularly notable as the images for this listing show a purple glow while that cheaper one I was talking about have the blue glow and was the primary reason I decided to return to this more pricy listing
2. The original one only turned on and off and the new one has a low and high setting you have to go through on the same button. So On(Low), On(High), Off, all from the same button. While this may be seen as a pro for some, it is inconsistent from the previous one I purchased and the multiple intensities was actually a feature I actively tried to avoid when choosing which zapper to buy

Brian Darsey: This bug zapper does an amazing job especially considering its small size. We have a house built in the 1940’s with many of the original windows. The wood does not seal completely but leaves tiny gaps that small insects can use to get inside. We have large gnats in the area that persist almost all year round and they have no trouble getting in through the windows. When we first moved in they we’re driving us crazy so we ordered this zapper and within two days they were under control. It also works well for flys and and the occasional beetle or moth that happens to get in through an open door. No maintenance is required except for cleaning the internal electrical grid work with the supplied plastic brush about once a week and you have to remember to power it back on if the electric goes out as it will not reset itself. Not a bad thing just something to get used to doing on occasion.
This is our second purchase and is being kept as a backup for now. Our original sits in an out of the way spot in our kitchen and has been working 24/7. After about a year and a half of constant use some of the led’s are starting to burn out. Even so we have not noticed it being any less...
