Outdoor Electronic Mosquito and Fly Zapper - FVOAI Bug Zapper

GNB: It did its thing with all sorts of bugs that come out at night. I'm just a little disappointed that it didn't quite target mosquitos. Its blue light is kind of dim so I'm guessing it didn't attract as many insects as my other white light zapper that's way brighter. To make it more effective I added octenal underneath to attract mosquitos. It seemed to helped a little. But this machine wasn't the relief from mosquito bites that I was hoping for. Unfortunately, I can't recommend anything else better than spraying the yard with insect killer.

Amazon Customer: I have this bug zapper next to my bed. We have a lot of mosquitos in our area, hence next to my bed because they buzz me all night.... before this beauty. I have had (mostly) full night sleep with no buzzing since I set this zapper next to my bed. Not putting outside on the patio...ordering another one for the BBQ patio come spring. When this zapper zaps it's almost unnerving. Light it generates is tolerable for me to sleep next to my bed. Can't wait to see how many bugs/MOSQUITOS in the BBQ patio.

Shelley S. Clark: We've been inundated with mosquitoes the past few years. I personally don't get bothered by them, but most everyone else I know does and they suffer. One of my granddaughters has "skeeter syndrome" which is just horrible, so I had to do something. I bought these on the recommendation of a friend and am quite pleased. Evidently I had a bunch of unseen critters in my house as once I plugged it in, it zapped merrily away all night. I have left it plugged in 24/7 for a few weeks now and I'm down to a couple of zaps at night. People visiting me are no longer being attacked by the voracious little blood-suckers. It worked so well I bought several for my work and my employees are quite grateful and customer complaints have pretty much dried up. I also put one out at night outside my covered patio door using an extension cord so it's not right next to the house and it's helping cut WAY down on the moths congregating around the porch light and it attracts the skeeters that would normally rush into the house when I go out at night.

Eric: Just bought a bug zapper and I'm impressed! Dealing with fruit flies, gnats, and other annoying tiny flies in my home has been a battle I used the vinegar and soap in a dish which works but it takes to much upkeep changing the jars out and such. But this little gadget is a game-changer. I leave it on day and night, and boy does it do the job! Even during the day, it manages to zap those pesky critters, although it's definitely more effective at night. I don’t know where they are coming from but this zapper has cut them down dramatically. Every now and then I’ll se a few and in a short amount of time the big zapper gets them. If you leave it on day and night like me I recommend getting the extra bulb to have on stand by.

Booker: I bought this bug zapper because I was getting flies in the house. I have a little dog who is terrified of flies when they're in the house. She doesn't mind them around her when they're outside. But when one gets in the house, she goes and hides behind the toilet. So I got the bug zapper and hooked it up. And it was going off quite a bit. I didn't realize I had so many flies. It wasn't the flies that it was catching, it was gnats. I didn't realize I had so many gnats in the house. But the problem with this bug zapper catching gnats is that they don't fall down into the trap. This bug zapper blows the gnats to smiththerines. They blow outside of the zapper. So my table was filled with gnat carcasses. It did catch a couple of flies, but it caught a whole bunch of gnats. So I'm thinking this is probably for better use outdoors.

And it didn't solve the problem of my little dog being terrified because now she's afraid of the bug zapper. It's quite loud when it zaps.
