J. DavisJ. Davis: All boxes checked: inexpensive, stay in place, anodizing does not come off when crimping, and they fit both brakes and shift cable. I broke my crimp tool last build, but they held up to vise grips.

The Shelby review: Didn't have much of an issue with these. They stay on and protect the wire. Mine were red and when I crimped them some of the red came off but I'm not at all worried about that. It does the job and can't beat the price.
