Jay Payne: This set of cables included both brake and gears. For the home bike mechanic they were fine. Installed, pulled them to get out any stretching and they're fine.

Gabriel's Dad: I'm happy with the quality of the cables. Bought a used bike for my son and elected to run new cables (brake and shifter) while cleaning it up. Cables are of good quality, no obvious manufacturing defects, and was easy to route through the cable housing and the bike. After a couple weeks the cable hasn't loosened up or stretched. The end crimps are not all that great, and when I checked on my son's bike after about a couple weeks of him riding it, I saw that both the crimps had come off, leaving sharp bare wire exposed. What the heck. It's not like I don't know how to crimp them on. I can only assume that they were of poor quality and ultimately fell off from vibration/riding etc. Annoying.
