Rexalie: I bought this bench for my boyfriend to sit at his keyboard. It feels very sturdy and is nicely padded. At first the seat may feel pretty firm, but it gets softer after someone has sat on it for a few minutes. I would definitely recommend this bench for the price -sounds like it is one of the better quality ones available in the price range.
