Betsydv: I am extremely happy with piano bench. It was very easy to assemble, strong and sturdy and beautiful quality. I was extremely impressed with the packaging. Great care had been taken to make sure the bench wasn't damaged in shipping. The box arrived all beaten up but there wasn't a scratch on the bench. Bravo! Excellent product, excellent packaging.

1) Dirty: The bench seemed as if it has been bathed in a desert. It was extremely dirty. I have attached a picture here. Not sure whether it was opened already.

2) Wobbles: More importantly, the piano bench wobbles (moves back and forth like a rocking horse) to an extent that my kid is not comfortable with playing the piano. I tried to tighten all the nuts and bolts for the four legs, but it seems two of them aren't getting tightened enough. They continue to go round and round in circles, and this is the side where the bench is wobbly.

I reached out to the vendor at bonnlo at outlook dot com, but the vendor never responded. I feel that ~$100 bench is a scam. I am not sure what to do here. It's a heavy piece of furniture.

I will update the review if I hear back from the vendor.

Sunny: I have been using this bench for 2 months. Overall it's good.

Pros:
The piano bench provides you easy rolling up and down on the side. I have been using some other benches before. No matter it's the relative cheaper basic ones or the pricy genuine leather one, none of their rollers is as easy as this one to adjust the height of the bench.
The price is relatively better than others on amazon I could found comparing to the same condition.
It comes with storage space and the materials are sturdy enough to store heavy books.
It's a dual piano bench which means you can play duet /4 hands sitting on the same bench. (However, the bench length is mostly comfortable for two kids or one adult and a kid at most. For one person is perfectly comfortable.)

Cons:
The sturdiness is absolutely not that great compared to those expensive ones as those are way heavier than this one. When you roll up to the highest end and roll down there will be some mechanic clicking sound come with it. (we all together is around 170 pounds)When we sit on the side of it, the clicking sound is heard as well , plus we can feel the bench is moving a little bit down. I checked the metal...

The Honest Conn Man: The piano bench that came with my Yamaha CSP-170 was a bit narrow, less wide than I'd prefer, and had no storage space at all -- serviceable but cheap. I went looking through Amazon reviews, concentrating on the low ones where the faults are likely to be found -- and didn't like what I was seeing even on the benches that were floating to the top of my list. One that I was about to purchase had a warning that the bottom of the bench was barely finished and gave him a good infection from the splinter he picked up as he tried to move the bench. He recommended that its buyers be sure to sandpaper the bottom of the bench.

This bench comes with no such warnings. It is well-finished -- on the top, on the bottom, and in the 2" storage area under the seat. The price is inexpensive but the workmenship is top-rate. The only nit that I have is the the bench storage is not generous but quite serviceable. Between it and the top of the piano, there is ample room for all the music you'll be working on at any one time.

The top is not genuine leather I'm told by the manufacturer, but it's soft, supple, and attractive. The bench will not be out of place whether you have a black lacquer...
