Yamaha LP1B Black 3-Pedal Unit for P125, P121, and P515 Digital Pianos

Bdub: I have more money than piano skill but I’m learning. I play through the speakers 90% of the time just singing and playing with the family, so I wanted the most simple, best built-in speaker sound that the kids and me could turn it on and easily bang around without having separate speakers or anything else to fiddle with. I do know a little about speakers and this piano has good speaker sound compared to the small handful of other DPs I’ve tried. The Roland I tried had a synth flavor in the bass, but this one sounds like a piano rather than a digital approximation from top to bottom.

Key feel more than fine for learning.

I could’ve done with one or two more impressive organ sounds. They seem like an afterthought.

Bosendorfer is fantastic, but these speakers seem to be set up for the Yamaha cfx grand, so you may want to dial the bass down on the internal 3 band EQ if you’re playing a lot of thicc chords down lower using the bosendorfer.

Tom FTom F: I own a Clavinova which I love, love, love, but unfortunately don't have room for it where I live so it stays at the music studio where I get lessons. I get to play it once a week or so. In the meantime I was practicing on a P45 which I do have room for. It was okay but lacked the touch and tone that I grew to appreciate in the Clavinova.
So, I decided to upgrade. What I wanted was a keyboard with the characteristics of the Clavinova in a smaller package and without all the bells and whistles. I just want to play a great piano keyboard.
At first I tried the DGX670, but that wasn't it, then I tried Rowland FP30X, which was really nice, but I thought the keys were too heavy, and then, finally I found out about the P525. Bingo, that was it. No, it doesn't exactly compare to the sound of the Clavinova, but it fits in my space, it has the same tone and feel as the Clavinova and I can get an external speaker to improve the sound if I decide I need that.
So, I'm very pleased that Yamaha made this possible.

Amazon Customer: Contrary to what they say if you have a drill, bits, a way to measure and a couple log quarter inch dia. bolts and nuts this thing mounts perfectly on the original stand. It's really that simple, drill the holes, put the bolts and nuts in to hold it in place, snug everything up, plug it in and play the keyboard. The more I looked at this item. on Amazon the more I was sure it could be mounted on the original steel stand, I was correct.

Kevin Saul: Nice unit. Installs easily, and is sturdy, but the peddles themselves squeak a bit. Isn't an issue if the volume is up or if using headphones.

Client d'Amazon: cela fessait plusieurs année que je possédait seulement le piano p-125. grâce au pédale on a l'impression de jouer plus sur un vrai piano que sur un piano électrique. c'est essentiel pour tout joueur de piano. le son du piano en est enrichi. Excellente qualité de matériel et de sensation (pour que sa ressemble le plus possible a un vrai piano)
