Rui Hetfield: Os VST de piano são difíceis de encontrar e os controlos midi difíceis de programar, mas de modo geral cumpre com o que necessito por isso 5estrelas

Wesley Hawkins: I bought this keyboard ages ago, and it has served me well as a hobbyist composer. I am not a midi keyboard afficianado so I won't go into the technical merits of the keyboard (it works), but I wanted to mention that when the mod wheels became gummy/sticky after a few years in storage, Nektar happily sent me upgraded replacement mod wheels free of charge SEVEN YEARS after I'd purchased the keyboard, no questions asked. Nektar has my respect and my future business.

RandyRandy: I am building a VPO or virtual pipe organ. I purchased 3 of these keyboards. You can see 2 of them in the photo. They perform well for what I need. They have a compact format factor. I am able to use controls to set stops on the organ. There is an inset strip in the keyboard I was able to use to hold the keyboard in place by creating a thin piece of wood that fits into the recess. This way I can still take them out if I need to, but they remain in place. The strip is shown on the upper section where the third keyboard is usually set. The organ itself is still a work in progress. I am using Organteq software with it and the keyboards work great with it.

Jalin ClarkJalin Clark: I got the Nektar back in 2021.

If I do say so my self, the product didn't disappoint. I originally got this midi to just substitute for a real piano, so that I could play around and practice.
A long with it I ended up getting a bitwig studio licence which was (temporary) nice.
I love how the keys aren't heavy or to soft. They are well pressure sensitive, so there's no need to attack the keys too hard or worry about needing to be extra delicate with your strokes.
The Octave and transpose buttons are a nice touch to get different sounds as well as the pitch dial. If your actively deciding to compose/record music which I don't necessarily do so much, as I mostly like to just play around.
The eight buttons near the top right of the keyboard makes it easy for, a quick access recorder, track player, undo button pause play and rewind key. I assume the shift button is for selecting tracks.
The volume knob makes for a nice touch so you don't need to go into your software to manually change how loud your midi volume is. With bitwig I find that this is very compatible and has lots of cool options for how you can make your midi experience great and fun
The biggest pro...

Matt M: It's not the best midi controller keyboard out there but it's pretty impressive for a product under £100. Lots to love and works well with Ableton Live.

When using with Ableton, it is very important that you follow the instructions step-by-step to ensure all functions work correctly. Otherwise none of the control-surface buttons do anything of any value.
Having said that, even then I've not managed to get the potentiometer dial to do anything with Ableton yet.

The keys are full size (like a piano) and well weighted. Being a piano player, I was worried that they might be too light for me, but the weight is really good.

On the downsides (and yes, you ultimately do get what you pay for), the velocity curves are a bit hit-and-miss, and I found that I get on best with the linear curve. The default ("normal") one just didn't work for me, especially with Addictive Keys (the piano plugin) when trying to play the same as on my piano, it felt like it was randomly making some notes more quiet. With the linear curve I find myself being able to play with expression. Having said that, it's certainly not the same as a good quality hammer-action digital piano (which are...

Mark: This is my first Nektar product, and I'm totally pleased with it. I watched a lot of Youtube videos and read a lot of reviews before buying, and it lived up to most of the reviews.

It's very light in weight, but the build quality feels really nice. It's not heavy-duty pro-quality housing, but it's a very attractive body and does not feel cheap.

The keys are not super-loose like most boards that are described as "synth action", but not as heavy as a weighted or semi-weighted board. I like both synth action keys for EDM and weight-y keys for playing piano parts, so I don't have an absolute preference for one or the other - and this is right in the middle. For the particular use of this board I would have liked something heavier, but if you want something that you can do both electronic music and classical piano, this is a good hybrid for doing both.

Professional players would probably not like the feel of the keys. I'm just a hobbyist and a nub keyboard player, but I can tell there's an inconsistency in the key stiffness. Some keys have more "give" than others. Under the fingers of a pro player it's probably awful. For me it's noticeable if I'm running up and...
