MAB: I purchased two of these, one for my dad because he’s a science professor and often needs to light things in his lab, and one for my husband, because it seemed like something he would enjoy. They both loved them and said they work well. The product is durability constructed and I would recommend it. I will update this review later on if I have anything else to contribute.

Virginia Dad: It's a little awkward to hold, takes practice to use, and it's hard to gauge how much lighter fluid to put in. That said, all of that is quibbling, minor stuff. I have big hands and I hold it in my left hand with my fingers inside the loop. I've only dropped it once when lighting it and I've lit it multiple times to get the hang of it.
It does take some practice to light it reliably because you have to get the angle and pressure right. Naturally, you want to use a lot of force to get the spark that ignites the wick but pushing hard also makes it hard to keep a firm grip.
The wick retains enough fluid that even if you have to strike it 4-5 times, it will still have enough accelerant to light. It's a good amount of flame. Plenty for lighting a small stove or lamp.
Since you only need a little lighter fluid - I use Zippo fuel, you don't need to worry about filling the reservoir up all the way. That's a good thing since it's metal cylinder, so you can exactly see easily into the thing to know how much to put in it.
Overall, this is a decent lighting tool for the price.
It's fun to light and hits all the right caveman instincts when you get the flame...

Riley Simmons: Sturdy, attractive construction is a big plus. A little bulky as far as keychain accessories go, but it is making up for like 3 separate accessories with its functionality. Also has two differently-sized keyring attachments for some reason. Comes with an extra wick, which is nice. On the downside, no matter what volatile accelerant (be it lamp oil, lighter fluid, or straight-up gasoline) I attempt to impregnate the cotton with, the wick just doesn't light properly. I've soaked it, let it sit, tried it, let it sit some more, tried it, dried it out and soaked it in something else ad nauseum. It seems to suffer in that it just doesn't perform its main function all too well. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I did my best to follow the instructions (fairly well-translated from their original Chinese) to a T. Still, not getting good ignition with the match aspect of the product.

john: i really like this product. it is not only good looking , it has a bottle opener , Keychain. And reusable match! The reason I did 4 stars is because the cap for the match came off after a couple of uses. I just put a drop of CA glue and its good as new. Cool product, its part of my everyday carry.

David Santamaria: I love survival stuff. I think that deep down humanity gets closer to its own apocalypse, so having a sure way to start a fire in my pocket is key. This is my keychan, is light, easy to use and last quite good, I have started quite a good amount of fires, specially for BBQ with this baby. Recommend it! you'll love it may it be zombie or alien apocalypse.
