Philly2Mesa: The plugs work well. They've even been removed from the wall, plugged back in, and they connected back to wifi without needing to be reset. The app is not difficult, but if you're not tech-oriented, you may need help. I don't use Alexa, so can't evaluate that. We've used them for coffee urns, crock pots, and the like.

Lou K: I have a home a Bell Home Hub 3000 with mesh pods distributed around the house. With this setup, adding 2.4ghz smart plugs etc. can be challenging and require turning off the the 5Ghz wifi, auto optimization etc. I've had huge struggles with this in the past.
But not with these Wyse plugs! I own Wyse cameras so I already had the app. Installing these took less then a minute. What a relief! The cameras have been rock solid so I'm expecting these to connect just as reliably.

Jon: A year ago I bought a cheaper off brand Wi-Fi outlet. The app for it was cheap and horrible, and they were a pain to control. I got the Wyze Plug since I already have a v3 Cam and Bulb. It is super easy to use. My one complaint is the limited scheduling. If you need an outlet (like me) that needs to go on and off every 2 hours or so, they only allow you a max of 5 programmable schedules. You cannot set schedules hourly for 24 hours a day. Besides that it is perfect for the price and well made.

A great compliment to home security. Can make you look like your home when you’re not through automated “vacation mode” light controls. And much more.

Originally I gave it a one star review bc the plug kept dropping off wifi connection. Basically making the plug not an ideal choice for home security.
However, there was an OTA firmware update two weeks ago. Since then, none of my plugs have dropped off wifi. Very stable now.

Plugs work great now. AMAZING product.

I am a loyal Wyze customer. I have many of their products in my house from cameras, outdoor floodlights, plugs, etc. In total, about 17 wyze products in my home. Many of my Wyze products are GREAT.
So it pains me to have to write a negative review on their smart plug.

These smart plugs have a huge flaw - they randomly disconnect from their wifi connection. And their is no way to reestablish the wifi connection unless you are physically next to the plug and have to do a hard physical restart. The plug is incapable of...

Phil P: UPDATE: Completely fixed!

UPDATED 04/28/2022: Updating my review to four stars. I've been posting on the Wyze forum, along with others, that the plug has an issue. Their team finally acknowledged the issue and updated the firmware change log to indicate the firmware was being fixed. Wyze employees reached out to people on the forum about a beta release that should fix v1.2.0.179 firmware, specifically the connectivity issue. Was able to sign up for beta testing through the app and installed the beta release. Their team also briefly described the issue in their firmware, which makes sense. When these plugs work, they are great. I'm also impressed with the Wyze support forum and team. Therefore, I'm giving this plug four stars.

Comparado con la versión antigua estos se programan desde la aplicación de Wyze a través de Bluetooth, por lo que es necesario tener en el celular el Bluetooth activo y darle permiso a la aplicación de ubicación mientras se usa para que la programación fluya sin problema. Mientras se programa solo se introduce la red y clave de wifi y funcionan perfecto.

Christian Glz: Si te gusta el concepto de smart home, estos son geniales, actualmente lo compre antes de navidad para poder controlar las luces navideñas y no tener que estar apagando y encendiendo manualmente, te ayuda a ahorrar luz, hoy en día la utilizo en la cocina con un sistema de cocción lento y en la sala con el centro de entretenimiento, Lo mejor de todo es su facilidad de utilizar con su aplicación wyze app, se puede poner que se apague en un determinado tiempo o generar horarios del mismo, actualmente también utilizo cámaras de esta marca ya que son económicas y muy buenas. Recomendados para uso con alexa con cuenta americana o google home mexico.
