Mr Moto: First thing I noticed was better suction due to the tighter fittings. Also the 10' hose is a big improvement over old 8' for vacuuming cars. The fitting at the hand held end rotates, The hose is very flexible and doesn't crimp. Lots of improvements over the original hose. I rarely do reviews but had to review this product because it's that good.

Patrick L.: I set up my shop vac along with a cyclone filter so that it is stationary in my shop. My shop is very crowded and I did not want to be dragging my shop vac around, so I was using several of the flimsy 2-1/2” hoses that typically come with shop vacs put together. These hoses were a total pain and for some reason, they would rather kink than swivel and were just unwieldy to deal with. I finally broke down and decided to try a couple of these hoses and despite the cost, in terms of the aggravation they prevented, they were a great investment. They are very flexible and swivel nicely, making them a joy to use. I liked these so much, I purchased a third hose. It’s hard to spend a lot on vacuum cleaner hoses, but these hoses have well worthwhile and I use my vacuum a lot more than I normally would have. Absolutely recommend!

Amazon Customer: Very good quality. Should last much longer than the cheap one that comes with the vacuum. Everything fits for my Rigid vacuum. Swivel connectors are a bonus.

Definity a recommended purchase if you're looking for an upgrade.

Gene Y.: This is one of the most impressive products I have seen in a long time. The hose is truly industrial grade. Yet it is very flexible. The hose does not contract under vacuum or expand when used as a blower The kit includes all the cnessary couplers to adapt to both 2-1/2 and a 1-7/8 inch vacuum and accessories. The couplers are designed to swivel and they actually do swivel very smoothly.. Overall a great product at a reasonable price.

CM: Been looking to extend my Dewalt DXV04T hose. Trying to find a fit that didn't cost a ton has been difficult.

Positives: This product along with the workshop adapter kit does do the job. I am able to connect this hose directly to my dewalt and then I connect my dewalt hose to the end of this one.

Negatives: I guess I’m used to the DEWALT, soft and maneuverable feel. This is plastic(y), more stiff/hard (dont go there:). My current issue is i put one of the associated adapters on the hose and can not for the life of me get it off. (without damaging it). Hopefully Ill figure out something.

This "WORKSHOP Wet Dry Vacuum Accessories WS17823A Wet Dry Vacuum Hose, 1-7/8-Inch x 10-Feet Heavy Duty Contractor Wet Dry Vac Hose for Wet Dry Shop Vacuums" is EXACTLY what I needed for my RIDGID portable shop vac (model WD4050, 4 gallon). In fact, this product is identical to the RIDGID-branded "pro hose," except gray (instead of orange) and less expensive. I've had my shop vac for over seven years, but only recently has its original stiff hose begun to crack. Now that I've replaced it with this upgraded hose, I realize I should've invested in this upgrade years ago.

The principal benefit is that this hose is MUCH more flexible than the original black hose that came with my shop vac, and therefore much less prone to kinking. It also allows for slightly better suction in spite of being three feet longer than the stock hose--presumably because the improved flexibility prevents the hose walls from...
