JustMe: I loved the older more substantial ones - but these may or may not work - plus unlike the others they require line of sight to function - you can tell just looking at the controls - they were substantial these are just cheap junk - even the batteries they use are junk batteries - I know that I'll never buy another one of these. The older models worked - these are iffy at best typical Chinese junk - not made to last.
Both the control and the batteries shown are not what you get - the control is a much smaller POS and the battery is a much smaller Lithium Ion battery than the ones shown - and they won't work as advertised - Not at all as described - doesn't work as described - doesn't even match the pictures posted - they pulled a bait and switch on me - these are not what I ordered - this is a scam - nothing more

Amazon Customer: I use the remote for Christmas Tree and candles in other rooms. Just have to turn off and on from one spot in living room and works in far bedroom. Little pricey but it works .

judybrodiejudybrodie: We don't have a lot of space to hang a light or place a table with a light on it in the living room. This came with a three pack of lights. We have a salt light on top of the china cabinet and one over the window and the third over the sliding doors. They provide the perfect amount of light and with the remote you only turn on what you want. Next room the basement !

Andrew: Have lights you want to control with a remote? This makes it incredibly easy to control them. It works off of radio frequency so you do not need line of sight to ensure it works. It also works though walls and multiple pieces of furniture. I picked this up for my holiday and Christmas lights since I have them plugged into various outlets. It's been very reliable and the remote works well.

The only downsides are that the outlets are on the large and bulky side, and the remote uses a very specialized battery that is not the most common. Would have been nice to have it use 2 AA or AAA batteries instead, or even a 9V battery.

Amazon Customer: We have put a tree on our balcony, with numerous lights all over the railings and these remote controls make it fun and easy to display all the lights, together or separately, depending on the time of day. There is NOTHING like LIGHTS at this time of the year. We will be using them indoors for various lamps and lighting throughout our home. Most of our electrical plugs are behind beds, couches and/or appliances. Having these remotes takes away the frustration of having to move furniture, etc. to turn on a light.

What is on Sale?: I just purchased Woods 13569 Indoor Wireless Remote Control (3-Pack) from Amazon.CA
It came with CH D. I want to purchase another set, however you cannot select the CH when ordering. I need another set that cannot be CH D as the RF would be conflicted between sets. Do you think you could expand your order selection to include the customer selection of the CH when ordering? In a large house same channels may not be a problem but in a condo it would most likely be an issue. I have purchased two of this product in the past with different RF and they lasted many years before the buttons on the remote gave out - press softly.

Tony R.: I quickly read through many reviews and didn't see any that fully explained these (I didn't read ALL in detail, however). Although I am personally extremely disappointed in this product now, I still feel this is an exceptional product and well worth the money. They do exactly what they're supposed to and are very convenient. If you want to turn on/off a few things, they are perfect. I read a couple of reviews that indicated the range was very limited and also read a couple indicating one of the three units was broken. I've purchased 40-50 sets (of 3) of these over the years and have found 2-3 individual units to not work. Considering the price and what they do, I think that's a very acceptable percentage. I've found the range to vary anywhere from 6 feet to 50+. But they are more than adequate for the average person in the average home or business. When the range has been significantly limited, I've noticed this is usually in locations with a lot of other electronic devices (i.e. probably interference and not poor quality). Here's where you need to be careful...Each set is on a separate frequency from the next set. There are a total of 6 separate frequencies (may be 7 or 8). To...

I can only recommend this product whole heartedly after using them everyday for a few years with not one failure nor need to replace the battery. In fact I bought another set for other uses!

A few comments why this product stands out.
- Compare the plugin switch units to others. This design provides plugin from below keeping cords parallel to the wall so they fit behind furniture needing only about 1.5 indhes of space. Look at others...you need up to 4 inches on other units.
- Compare button design. These are large and simple one for on and one for off. Separate button sets for each channel.
- What thing you can’t see online is how thick the plastic is. This is rugged regardless of price.
- As mentioned in review...the batteries are still working after 4 years.
- Buttons have tactile as well as visual feedback.

Old review:
I read the reviews before buying this product and, although we all have opinions, I must clarify that this is not cheaply made...at least not on the outside. It is solid and unlike the completion it does not block the alternate outlet from being used. The controller is easy to use and it operates instantly....
