Craig: Great rebuild kit. OEM product - said Woodford right on the package. Was able to replace every rubber seal and make my spigot like new again. Was super easy to do and many YouTube vidoes to show you in detail. Woodford makes a great product and definitly recommend renewing a leaking or hard to turn on/off spigot. Make sure that you order the right kit for your spigot. The cap on top of my spigot was clearly marked Woodford Model 17 (had to take a pic with my camera and zoom in to tell for sure).

Rev Rider: If you can avoid buying a Woodford frost resistant fixture then do so. Terrible design. They will all leak. Plumber wanted to tear out wall to replace. One YouTube video and this kit solved the problem. For now, that it. It will leak again in the future. Basic design flaw.

William R. ThorneWilliam R. Thorne: Installed these rebuild kits today on two Woodford Model 17 freeze proof hydrants. It was difficult to scrape out the existing cloth-like packing material. I used a small screwdriver to remove it, and then the stem came out easily. Be sure to leave the cap off off the anti siphon valve until you have checked for leaks. Both faucets leaked excessively through the clear anti siphon nut, so I called Woodford customer service. The lady was very knowledgeable and had me remove the clear plastic anti siphon nuts and diagrams and then flush water to remove any debris. I did that on both faucets and used a wrench to tighten the plastic nut down securely. As noted by another reviewer, the diaphragm kept slipping down off of the plastic nut so I used silicone grease to keep the two parts together during reassembly. The new handles have a metal insert that makes them much sturdier that the old ones. The two faucets look like new and had no leaks.
