Nice starter tool. Comes with several tips. The only con is that it came open and the stand was missing. I ordered it to create a handmade gift on a deadline, so had to use it right away and can no longer return. Overall, nice and fun to use.

This little tool is amazing! For the price you pay, it comes with all the basics you need to start learning how to woodburn. I'm a beginner and I found this very easy to use. After a while, it tends to get really hot, so I just take break to let it cool down. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this product!

This kit is ok for a beginner who's just curious about trying pyrography, like I was. Not a good long-term purchase.
I bought this two years ago and I've used it about 5 times since. Last week as I was switching out the bit, half of the tread broke off into the tool. I can't use the tool anymore because now no bits will screw into the tool.
It worked well the few times I used it, however I did have to turn off the tool after about 45 minutes because it would get so hot my knuckle would start to slightly blister. After it cooled and I gave my hand a break I could continue on my project.
I'm going to replace this kit with a different one that has a heat guard and more bits to try out. Hopefully the bits aren't as brittle as the ones in this kit.
