Women's Timberland Chocorua Trail Boot - Durable, Stylish Outdoor Footwear

Kriti: I had a pair of these boots that I bought maybe ten years ago, and they held up really well through a lot of walking, remaining comfortable until the end. (I bought a pair of Oboz later that have disintegrated within 3 years.)
I was thrilled to see they are still available, so I ordered a replacement pair. They are sturdy, and very comfortable right out of the box. I have a difficult time finding comfortable boots because they usually run too wide for my feet. But these work well for me.

Kelly: I love these boots. I've never had a pair of real hiking boots as I always just wore my Docs. So far these are great shoes that have already supported me well through multiple hikes. I've stepped in plenty of puddles and no water leaked in. The more I wear them the more scuffed the leather gets, which I really like because it gives them a vintage rustic look.

Sandra Warner: I love my boots! These are a second pair. First pair was bought years ago and used hard for hiking. We go through mud, rocks, grasses and rock and dirt. I have had my feet swell in recent years as I’m closing in on 70, so I got a new pair that is wider, otherwise the original pair would never have needed replacement.

Anne: My regular size is EU 37 and I have sized up to an EU 38w - they are perfect for hiking in cold weather and muddy conditions where you might wear thick socks! I love them. I have a narrow foot but I am happy with the 'w' width.

Tafl: Ich habe diesen Schuh erstmalig 2009 gekauft; er wurde von mir wirklich "geschleppt" ... nachdem nunmehr durch ständiges Tragen bei Hundespaziergängen im Wald die Brombeerstacheln ihr übriges getan haben, bin ich hellauf begeistert, dass es dieses Modell noch zu kaufen gibt... Nach 14 Jahren darf ein Schuh, bei dem ich mit der Zeit lediglich einmal die Schnürsenkel ersetzt habe und der zudem viel getragen wurde, wirklich ausrangiert werden. Gute Qualität, sehr gemütlich....einfach nur top

mycy: I read complaints of scuffs on the leather. Well, these boots are nubuck which has nap. The markings you see is a characteristic of material with nap, the same way velvet or suede has nap. To make the texture more uniform, take a soft bristle brush and make gentle strokes across the leather in one direction. You can clean nubuck that has water spots or dirt on it this way too. Aside, these boots are very comfortable. My feet are a bit wide, but low volume. I am a size 6 in street shoes, but bought 6.5 regular width for hiking. They are very roomy even with a cushy wool hiking sock, almost bordering on too big, but I'll keep them anyway because they are Gortex and have good metal eyelets. I agree with some reviewers that the sole can be slippery on wet surface. Would have been 5/5 otherwise.

Bles Bles: UPDATE:
I have had these boots for ~3 years now. They have turned into my most comfortable footwear for all seasons. It is comfortable as long as I am wearing 2 pairs of socks. The traction issue also improved over time. So, I am updating the initial rating from 3/5 to 4/5 (the lost star is due to the initial discomforts with it, and also the little circle decals on the outer side fell off within 1 year, but that doesn't impact the comfort of the shoes).

INITIAL:
I have had these boots for only a couple of weeks and have worn them less than 15 times so far. Something to note is that I typically wear 7.5w (but can fit into 6.5s depending on brand). The size 8 version of this brand is a good fit for me.

Pros:
1) SUPER DUPER Warm! It may be freezing outside, but my toes are warm, toasty, and dry whenever I am wearing these.

Cons:
1) These boots are very slippery, especially when it rains (a surprising feature for hiking boots)! I happened to wear them for the first time on a rainy day. I was fine walking outside on the rough concrete. However, upon entering the subway, I automatically adjusted my gait because the smoother flooring revealed the boots'...

Rübchen: Habe sie im Warehous-Deal für einen Super Preis (65,-) bekommen, in einer Nummer größer als ich zb leichte Sneaker kaufe, angeblich gebraucht, aber allenfalls anprobiert waren sie, sie sind neu, und ich bin glücklich,es gewagt zu haben, denn gebrauchte Schuhe? Es ist ein Schuh wie aus Kindertagen, dickes robustes Leder, + moderne Materialien, und meine Zehen haben Platz. Meine Füße sind weder sonderlich breit noch schmal, ich mag es aber nicht wenn die Zehen bei solchen Schuhen eingeengt sind, denn diese müssen Outdoor einiges an Belastung aushalten, da sollten sie frei sein und trotzdem Halt haben. Bei den ersten Schritten gab es eine Falte über dem Zehenansatz, das drückte leicht, aber auch das ist wie früher, und die Falte wurde schnell ganz weich und breitete sich aus, kein Druck mehr da, das Leder ist nicht steif, der Schuh läuft mit, das Leder gibt nach, und nach ein zwei längeren Spaziergängen waren sie eingelaufen, ich spüre sie überhaupt nicht mehr. Nichts drückt, reibt, und keine Blasen. Ich hatte zuvor einen Outdoor einer bekannten Schuhkette, auch Leder, aber dann eben an der Sohle gespart, diese waren so hart im Fußbett das ich kaum heimkam, mit 50...
