SunshineD: I searched the internet for women's wide waterproof hiking boots and in all of the internet, there were about 3 pairs in my size. Some had bad reviews. These Hi-Tec boots had good reviews, so I bought them. I sized up a half size and am glad I did. I am thrilled! These boots are wide enough for my wide feet! The length is perfect, too. I loosened up the laces very wide and my feet slid right in.
The boots are loaded with great features and are very attractive. I just took them out for a 2 mile walk to try them out and they are comfortable all over the foot. No problems or concerns. Among the excellent features: attractive coloring and design; easy to lace with metal rings and hooks for the top 2; stiff plastic reinforced heel and toe, with an additional reinforcement at the tip of the toe; suede and mesh sides for breathability; good ankle support; comfortable padded collar and tongue; comfortable sole and heel height and design; lightweight; good sole design for traction without having an indentation that becomes a dirt/ dog poop catcher, as some higher end brands have. And the PRICE. These are excellent boots at any price. Now, are they really waterproof? I don't know, but...

Kelly: Excellent Quality boots I'm very impressed. Runs Large so just order your regular size and you can easily fit thick socks and insoles in them.

HappyShopper: The pair I received was in an Amazon box and marked as a repackaged because the manufacture box was damaged, whatever with that. The upper inside of the left toe box had some strange bunching of material that I just couldn't figure out. They wouldn't be wearable short or long term without being an irritation. Size-wise they are a good 1/2 - 1 size too big. I bought a 10 which is my usual size, even with a pair of very heavy winter socks I could have easily worn a 9. Didn't return for the 9 because they were twice as much. From a comfort perspective if they didn't have the issue with the material and weren't so big they would be keepers. They look good and the sole is one that would have a good grip. It isnt that strange cheap plastic sole that slides on everything and that was nice. I would say buy it, sorry to say my pair didn't work but I could understand other high reviews from those who didn't get a dud pair!

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I used these this long weekend to hike and they were quite comfortable and durable. I wore ankle socks so I was skeptical that I may get a blister or it may feel uncomfortable on the back of my heel, but it didn’t (I’d still recommend high socks though).I’m a size 9-9 1/2 shoe size so I found these to be snug, but still a good fit. Overall good purchase!

gd2bnmaine: Seemed like a good quality boot. Ordered my regular size 10 for a boot considering I would wear heavy socks but was still way too big. Actually had to check if they were a mens size 10 by mistake, was not. Had to return them.

Charlene Meechoochee: This product arrived promptly as guaranteed. I'm always reluctant to order shoes online, however the fit is perfect.
I've trekked to work in teeming rain several times and each time I've arrived at work with dry feet.
I'm looking forward to hitting some trails with them soon!

zelda: I really wanted to love these boots, and if the pair I received had not been defective, I would have been quite satisfied. My right foot is larger than my left foot, and I ordered size 8 1/2 boots. (normal size 8 or 8 1/2 depending on brand) When I first put them on, they felt somewhat large, but I would rather err on the side of too big than too small. As suggested by other reviewers, I added an arch support/insole and wore very thick wool socks. That made a considerable difference, and since we were heading out for a camping trip in two days, I decided to go for it. IF both boots were made and felt like the LEFT boot, I would have been very happy to keep them. First hike was only 2.5 miles up with an elevation increase of over 900 feet. This gave me an idea of what to expect from my new boots. The LEFT boot was awesome, no slippage, no pain, bumps or blisters, no adjustments needed throughout the entire day!!! BUT in the RIGHT boot (mind you that is my larger foot), my foot slipped forward and backward, I had to stop and re-tie to try to get it to tighten up over four times during this short five mile hike. There was no hope as this boot was so much larger plus the eyes for the...

Cuda's Mom: The boots are light weight and have good ankle, stability support and traction. They run big. I am an 8 1/2-9 -ordered the 9. They were very loose. While the foot/arch support is OK--I bought orthotics that take up the space and support my feet better. They are perfect now.
I have very weak & skinny ankles and have sprained them repeatedly. These boots and a staff really help me while hiking to not roll my ankle. I have walked through creeks and deep mud and my feet have stayed dry-even when hosing the mud off. After being soaked they dry very quickly. They keep my feet warm in cold weather but are not too hot in warm weather.
During break in--which was minimal-I did have ankle wear pain but that went away quickly. No blisters but I didn't wear them on a long hike until they were broken in properly & comfortable.
I would buy them again and recommend them. Just don't upsize unless you are going to add insoles.
