Wishacc Book Holder - Extra Large Size for Maximum Comfort and Support

Ian: I initially thought of ordering a smaller size, but am happy I did not, because this nice bookstand actually is a lot smaller -- practically speaking -- than I thought; thus, I'm happy I ordered the 15.4" x 11" version. With this size you can fit average-sized novels, larger novels and non-fiction books, and even cookbooks. If you want to read really thick cookbooks, I would recommend the next larger size instead of this one. But if you have very limited space on your desktop or are using a 36" wide desk converter, like the VariDesk Pro Plus 36 that I bought this desktop stand for (AND you do not read extra large books) you might be fine with the next SMALLER size to fit three objects next to each other: e.g. a laptop, the desktop stand, and a second monitor. On my VariDesk Pro Plus 36, I can fit this 15.4" x 11" bookstand by angling both my laptop and my second monitor slightly on each side of the centered bookstand. CGIsackson: Perfect music book holder for my music production desk where my 88-key studio piano is in a pull-out shelf in desk and the sheet music holder will not fit onto the keyboard in the in-desk configuration. The book holder has two narrow pressure pins at the bottom which securely hold the music book pages back and allow ALL the notes on the page to be easily read. It easily holds a music book flat and opened and has page dimensions of 9" wide by 12" long (so the book measures 18" wide by 12" high in the book stand and is totally comfortable for playing the keyboard). It can easily hold larger books than what I described, and certainly smaller ones. The wood is very light colored and is definitely a bamboo which goes very well with white oak or light alder wood. Nice design, too. If your are an avid reader or studio keyboard player with an AZ Studio Work Station desk or similar arrangement, then this is really a nice addition to your office organization.

LegoDad: I've begun transcribing old journal books I kept in the 80's when I was stationed in Germany into word documents. So I have to have the book open so I can read it and type it. I did the first book, almost a year and a half's worth of entries, by laying it on the table next to my surface pro as I typed things out. I used my iPhone to hold pages open when necessary. It worked OK, but the next book was a larger format, and less room on my circular dining table to have it next to the computer without falling off the edge.

THIS is absolutely perfect. I wish the page holders were thinner - you can't see words behind them. But if I turn off the ceiling fan, I can leave the holders almost in the closed positions, just on the very bottom of the pages near the center, and it still functions as it should. That way they don't block the page. I may design my own thinner metal arms at some point, since it's simply screwed to the base, but for now it'll do.

Inexpensive, solid, easy to adjust the angle the books are tilted. This is going to save me a lot of hassle with the other dozen or so books I have to go through for this project. So glad I finally searched for something and...

L'on peut régler la pente et son grand format accueil facilement de grands livres d' Art ( par exemple ) ou des ouvrages de poche . estuve dudando de coger este tamaño o uno mayor, por que lo quería para el Libro Rojo de Carl Jung, que pesa unos 4kg, y la verdad que este tamaño lo soporta muy bien. Un tamaño mayor ya sería excesivo, éste es un tamaño perfecto y muy versátil.
