I sometimes wear altra shoes (wide toe box) and these fit with them. They are pretty sharp and a little heavy but worth it in the long run!

r.raffe: If you have to walk on snow, ice get these. Work well in most conditions except the really chewy snow because the snow will just pack in them and try to rip them off your feet. They are great to wear for shoveling the driveway, pushing your friend's car out of the snow, or when hiking uphill on the packed snow and your lazy dogs won't pull you up the hill and you keep sliding back down...you get the picture...just get these. No more problems.

Katie S.: I ordered these for a gift and I think they're good quality. They are fairly heavy duty and seem to work well. They were a far better price than any others I saw, and appear heartier than many others. I would definitely order them again. Easy on & off, and they stay in place.

When my Kahtoola microspikes went missing, I discovered there are now other brands out there so I decided to try them. I bought a pair of these and also a virtually identical product from Cimkiz. Then I found my old Kahtoola microspikes.
If I didn't look carefully for the brand labels when I put them on, I can't tell the three of them apart. They all work fine--far better than Snow Trax, which always fall off my shoes when I go up hill, exactly when I need them most. These stay on and they allow me to walk with confidence across icy sheets. I guess if I were a real mountaineer, I would want more substantial crampons; but these are great for winter hikes on trails where the ice is packed down.
None of these three brands would be good on an icy sidewalk. They're overkill--the spikes are much too substantial. These are really only useful on ice or on ground where the spike can dig in.
This particular brand has an extra velcro strap that you can attach it even more securely to your foot. I didn't bother with it, and it never once even came loose, so it seems like you don't need it.
The big advantage of these and the Cimkiz version...

Backyard Chicken LadyBackyard Chicken Lady:
I live in Colorado, or COLDorado as we call it. Snow begins in late November or early December and doesn't clear until at least March or April. During those months we go between snowing and freezing every day so ice or snow are a constant. I can't just stay indoors for months on end, I have to feed my chickens, bunnies, and barn cats, and walk on slippery ice to get to and from my vehicle. At my age the last thing I need is to fall and break a hip or an arm.
So I bought these cleats for my snow boots. When they arrived I found no instructuins for putting them on, but it was easy to tell which end was the toe end, so I just slipped the toe of my boot in that area and while holding the boot between my knees I stretched the black rubber out over the back end of my boot. It stretched easy enough for my arthritic hands to handle it. And it fit very snug. They don't shift around at all.
The sizing chart showed this size to fit on size 9 women's boots, which is what I have, and they fit perfectly.
I will not be taking these on and off with each trip to the car, because that would be a messy job with the way I have to hold the boot to get...
