This camera was relatively easy to set up and seems sturdy enough. Picture is crisp and microphone feature is great. It does however have some serious limitations from security standpoint. As this only starts recording when triggered and it only triggers at 30 feet, it is pretty easy to defeat simply by running past the camera. There is no pre-recording period (I assume to save battery) and as the specs say, it only triggers about 30 feet away even if motion is clearly visible at a further distance. I can drive in and out of my driveway an trigger the alarm but you never see the car coming or going. Also, the playback sometimes fails or stutters with a 60% signal strength. It does not have a configurable "trigger area" as some of the competition does and so far I have found no way to customize the alert sound - I would like to make it louder and longer in the event I have dozed off) . If you are looking for security, I would recommend the a camera with an always on DVR. It would also be nice if you could pair the cameras so that when...

Gary L.Gary L.: The coverage of a single camera is amazing and the quality is great!!! I was a bit skeptical about the ability of the solar panel being able to keep up the battery levels but it does an amazing job in a short time. Let’s see if the solar panel holds up to the Florida sun? That’ll be a test. Installation was a breeze and totally wire free except the wire from the solar panel to the camera. Night vision!!! Wow! I have seen several commercial security cameras that don’t have the illumination and clarity of this camera. This seems more like military grade. I live in an area where there are no street lights and I had to open the door to see if the porch light was on because I couldn’t believe how it cut through the darkness of night and I could see everything for at least 100 feet. Love the volume of the camera recording and announcing.The app. The app is good but, could be a little better and I’m sure it will be with updates in the future releases. The app seems to get quicker response time as time goes along.
The one thing I wish is that the batteries were replaceable without voiding a warranty. I use 18650 batteries regularly every day and I plan on...

Mikel BerryMikel Berry: I now have security cameras all the way around my house. This Yeskamo security camera was a super simple answer to a really complicated issue. How do you get 100% security for an area WITHOUT spending a fortune and doing a lot of expensive wiring? Once I got this camera installed, I haven't given it a second thought. I get instant notifications on my smartphone, with every movement in the protected area. The daytime pics are high resolution and crystal clear. The night time pics are almost as clear, with the IR lighting provided by the camera. You can record both locally to your phone AND the camera (with a micro-SD card inserted) as well as cloud storage (for a fee). The pic I included shows how sharp the detail is. You can even see across the street, with perfect clarity! The camera is really easy to set up, with the solar panel (no external power source required). The app works perfectly and gives you plenty of customization options. I'm VERY happy with this camera and the component system. Five stars.

Wesley: I have installed lots of IP Camera around my house and bought this to get one that is solar powered so that I can put it where that I don’t have power nearby. The camera has a swivel base that lets you mount it on any angle, and it uses a standard camera screw compatible with what is used on camera tripods. The image quality is very good, especially in daylight, and it has IR illuminators for night viewing. However, the night viewing gets reflections from the IR illuminators so I have had to leave it in the full color mode at night. I really like some of the features, like a simple plug on the back that covers the USB power connector and the TF card slot, so there is no need to get into the camera itself. The camera has rechargeable batteries built in so you don’t have to use the solar panel if you want to recharge it every month or so. It also has a thermal image sensor that is supposed to help with motion triggering and it does seem to work better than some other motion sensors. There are very few user settings with the CloudEdge app, which makes it simple to set up, but I would prefer more adjustment potential. The biggest drawback I have found is...
