Steven Z.Steven Z.: I was skeptical at first, but this camera does work better than expected. I have it mounted in a tree in a heavily wooded area of my property about 140-150 feet from my house. The battery lasted about 4 months, but I recently purchased the solar panel to go with it and it's been solidly charged. I will purchase again if this one dies. FYI, I did spray some parts with Tabasco sauce to keep the squirrels from nibbling on the antennas and solar panel wire and I havent seen any new chew marks.

Mark Thomas: I bought four of these, to set up around the outside of the house. They arrived a day after ordering and taking one out of the box, it felt more solid and higher quality than I was expecting. The cameras were cheap, and even though the reviews/ratings were fairly high, I still wasn't expecting the quality and features that I got.

Setup via the app was so simple. I had read some comments about issues/confusion with the app. To me, the interface and steps to get started were very easy. Again, I got more than I expected and I kept saying to my wife that I couldn't believe how much we were getting in terms of the features, for the price paid. To put it into context: 4 of these were less than the price of 1 google nest (battery operated) camera (which doesn't come with a solar panel!)

I put them up around the house on the weekend, along with their solar panels .. all pretty simple stuff. If you can drill a few holes and wield a screwdriver while on a ladder, you should be ok. Notifications started coming through on my phone straight away, with short videos of me installing the cameras. They've been up a few days now and operating without a hitch. Batteries are staying up...

Tracey BTracey B: These cameras are great for my cabin in a rural setting. I can view them anytime on my phone and the application is easy to use. I can use the toggle to move the cameras left, right and up and down. I purchased 3 and still have one more to install after I get another solar charger. The solar chargers seem to be working well so far. They have been installed for about 2 weeks and doing great so far! Love these! Update review all three cameras are working great!! Had an issue w one solar charger and they are replacing it!!

M. Hutchison: I've been using this for a week or two, and while I quite like the hardware I'm less than impressed with the app (and to a certain extent, the company contact/support).

First, the pros:

- Hardware seems decent enough, the solar panel is maintaining the camera battery quite well.
- The image quality is a big improvement over the Wyze cam I was using.
- Night vision is pretty good.
- Able to pan and tilt, and set frequently-used positions (for example: driveway view, front door, carport)
- Easy to mount, includes templates and screws.
- The camera management piece within the app is easy to use.

Now the cons:

- The 'zoom' function is a digital zoom, and consequently there are limitations to it.
- Parts of the app have no explanation and the manual is useless for that - for example, 'marking' a vehicle seems to indicate you can mark your vehicle and save a picture(s) of it for reference. However, the app complains if you have more than 5 images, which forces you to 'merge' them - and I'm not confident it actually works.
- I've marked my vehicle but still get notifications about it - disabling the notification for "A vehicle is parked"...

Michael Ransier: In picking this camera I was stunned at all the quality that goes into making of these in the first place. The picture quality is superb and the movements of the pan is extraordinary. Install was a breeze, sharing the camera out to others in the family was straight forward but the instructions somewhat confusing at first. A suggestion would be a updated Youtube Video showing how this is done would be helpful. The real nice thing would be the ability to VIEW the cameras output through third party Android, Amazon Fire and PC APPs. Overall this is the best camera I have used and would highly rate it as a must have. You could spend more but what's the point when you have this DZEE Camera available on Amazon and Direct sales.
